Going to this food truck was one of the reasons we chose Hawaii for vacation and we can not say enough about how good this food is!! The ribeye steak, garlic butter shrimp, and macaroni salad are PHENOMENAL! We rode the city bus 5 hours round trip from Waikiki just to visit Da Bald Guy food truck then got to have it two more times two days later at the Endless Summer Festival when the truck had a booth in Waikiki. Genuinely delicious! The staff were friendly and service was efficient Well worth the trip from St. Louis, MO!!

I really looked forward to coming here especially after hearing such good reviews. And the food was so good!! I ordered the pan fried poke with spicy aioli and it was cooked perfectly. It was different take on poke and the fish tasted fresh and not too fishy. It was a large portion as well. The spicy Mac salad was very tasty as well. I really want to try other menu options now!!

I have been rooting for these guys on The Great Food Truck Race, so when we decided to come to Oahu, I had to go. They did not disappoint. My wife said it was the best food she has had on the island, beating out a lot of places that came highly recommended. The locals love it , the tourists love it, how can you go wrong. We saw Da Bald Guy featured on Netflix’s Street Food series so we were so happy when we stumbled across it at this North Shore food truck stop! We got the fried poke plate and it was so delicious—ended up being my partner’s favorite thing he ate all trip! It was loaded with some good sauces, I just wished they sold fresh poke too. Next time we’re in Kahuku definitely wanna go back to try their furikake crusted fish too.

Da Bald Guy is a must stop, one of the OG’s on the food truck scene, I know there are other trucks that serve Garlic Shrimp , but this tasted better than last year why I don’t know, my son got the beef, and loved it. I know people will think 5 star for a food truck for atmosphere, uh yeah you’re in Hawaii. Da Bald guy is a can’t miss on the North Shore.

Great boneless beef kabalb and garlic butter shrimp with rice platter! We ordered the 2 for $25 which was a great choice since this genuinely was a serving for two. If you are going here on a tour or road stop, don’t be fooled by the food truck looking worn out, the wait is worth it and the quality of the meal will also speak for itself. We’ll definitely recommend!

My goodness!!! We are soooo glad that we experienced da bald guy food truck! The food tasted absolutely delicious!! The garlic shrimp, the short ribs and the Mac are to die for!!! We were in town for a week and we had to go back two more times! Literally the best tasting food in Honolulu!! They know flavors!!! Highly recommended!!!
