ABSOLUTE BEST CALZONE IVE EVER HAD!!! My husband and I love calzones and this was unlike ANY we have ever had, in the best way. The thinnest, crispiest, tastiest crust I’ve ever had in my entire life except for maybe on a pie. Handmade right in front of us, cooked to perfection no one else was there the entire time and let me tell you, you’re sleeping on this place. ITS SO GOOD!!! Will be back asap ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend! (Sorry for the bad pic)

Well I decided to try this because they were open late. Omfg, seriously good pizza, especially the jalapeño ranch with the Roni rolls. I found the dough soft, fluffy and cooked to perfection. I also ordered the bro zone calzone. I asked for extra garlic parmesan seasoning and they definitely delivered! I was feeling down in the dumps and wanted to eat my way to happiness..this pizza brought a smile to my soul, as delicious food does!! If you need a pick me up or just want delicious pizza, I would definitely ordered from D.P. Dough..don’t forget the jalapeño ranch!!

I’m a bartender in Downtown Boise. D.P. is often the only reasonable option for me after my shift at 3am. Staff is usually friendly and accommodating. The current crew seems product-focused, but the biggest downfall for me (after being a patron since opening) is over-saucing and general consistency. It is late night grub, I get it, but frankly, Frank’s red hot goes a long way. Over-saucing kills an otherwise decent product. When basic order instructions are adhered to correctly the experience is about a 4-level.

Quick, late night food has limitations, I get that, but consistency would go a long way to offset the compounding tiny gripes I have. It’s college-centric fare, but gets a bunch of cops and bartenders in the wee hours, especially on weeknights.

Wow, very impressed! Good value and delicious crust. I’m used to calzones being dry and crusty this was perfectly cooked and great toppings.

This is a picture of a dragon zone. Missing ground beef, totally undercooked, cheese not even melted. F- and garbage aggressive customer service from the manager Matt. You can’t send someone this pitiful food and then argue with them. I’ll never order again.

Edit response: It was 2am in the morning. I didn’t want another calzone. I wanted to go to sleep. You made no apology for the bad experience and you argued with me. You’re hyper aggressive and your customer service skills are non existent. Can’t believe you have a job.

The first time we got this we were like “wow this is really bland.” Against our better judgement, we ordered another time and selected the “hook it up” option, which, let’s be clear, is literally just adding seasoning. I was annoyed because it seems like a money grab to pay extra for a restaurant to season the food? Shouldn’t that be standard? Well, after paying extra, they didn’t actually hook it up, and we were given the same bland calzones. Skip this place if you want your food to have flavor.

Great BBQ chicken calzone. It was great with Bleu cheese dressing. There was plenty dressing for the calzone.

It is very hard to find a place to eat after a long hike. And DPD is open super super late, and their calzones are a good bang for your buck. Was a little bummed that they have no soda fountain, sometimes you just gotta gave a super chill Dr. Pepper with ice.

Asked for the buffalo blue cheese calzone and was matched with a bread, mozzarella and cheese only…… my first and only time ever coming here. ( had to get all the sauces on the side just in case, and I’m glad I did) Dry and not what I paid for

Delicious late night fare. Some of the best budget friendly late night eats. When its after 1 am, and you’re asking yourself, what do I want to eat? D.P. Dough has a calzone for that. A huge selection, good variety outside of the typical folded pizza flavors, and a helpful friendly staff. What more do you need?

Eat here!
