Trendy spot for creative Chinese dim sum & larger plates including ample seafood plus sweets.

Lunch special is subpar. I’ve never been to a Chinese spot that has the words fine dining in it. I was excited for an exhilarating experience, but left much to be desired. If you can’t get a lunch special right how’s the main course going to settle? Plain white rice for the lunch special first time I’ve ever seen that in a lunch special and the egg rolls are frozen here. It’s just a bunch of mush on the inside when served . Main protein serving was super small no sauce . weird experience.

Ok is this life changing dim sum? No but it’s pretty dang good. Selections are definitely caterer to american tastes but since I am an American Im not gonna complain. There’s few places in chicago (and especially in lakeview) you can leave absolutely stuffed with food for $30 for two people. The wait staff checked on us constantly and our teapot was never empty. I think for its price point and what it is, this is a five star dim sum joint.

Cozy quiet atmosphere. Had egg drop soup and egg rolls no complaints. Served very hot! Their food to go I bet is fantastic.

I just had the BEST orange chicken of my life, and thanks to D Cuisine! My god, the food was heavenly! They were also nice enough to change one of my orders, coz I didn’t know what I was ordering lol I also had the eggplant dish, shrimp dumplings, and egg custard, which were great! It’s also right around the shops, so great to stroll around after your meal. Definitely 5/5 experience!

Ive been here multiple times with a vegetarian friend, and he has always left satisfied! I’ve only ever been around lunch time and its never been to busy and the service is super quick! you can alsk bring in your own drinks, which is super nice!

Never tried their stir fry dishes, but definitely best dim sum place in Midwest, probably in America even. I’ve never had an authentic experience with the sandy salted egg yolk buns outside of China until I tried them here. Soup dumplings were amazing, too. They were light, flavorful and like a umami bomb, with a surprising but delightful citrus hint. Cha shu turn over was surprisingly crispy. Seems these items I ordered were freshly out of the oven. 200% recommend and I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit. FYI I rarely put in reviews unless it is truly worth it.

You can order by writing on the menu. Not a lot of interaction with servers, but they are very attentive! This is a great place to chat with friends.

My significant other recently received some awards at her job for all her hard work, and I surprised her with dinner at D Cuisine to celebrate.
General Tao is usually my go-to dish, and here it was so flavorful and perfectly sauced. One thing that really stood out about D Cuisine is their unique menu setup. They offer way more variety than you might expect, and their backside of the menu includes helpful photos and different portion sizes (small to medium).

pretty decent option for dimsum in lincoln park. there was no wait for a party of 7 at 12:30 on a sunday. servers were very friendly and food came quickly. overall a pretty positive experience despite a few complaints about some of the dishes. especially enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and siu mai. both were quite stuffed and very flavorful. the turnip cake was a bit soggy (barely any crisp), and the sticky rice wasn’t sticky enough

We order their lunch specials as often as possible; it’s a great selection of options, generous portions, always delicious.
The black bean fish, orange chicken, fried rice, Singapore rice noodles, Mongolian beef, all fabulous. You get a large portion of your entrée of choice, either one egg roll or one crab Rangoon (both are terrific), and a soda of choice. A lot of good, hot food for a decent price. It’s only available weekdays, but that’s good enough for us!
