Husband ordered a seafood extravaganza (lobster, crab and shrimp) served with toasted baguette and I had the catfish with loaded boiled potato
Both dishes were excellent and service was exceptional keeping our drinks filled etc.
We plan to return before we leave town in a few weeks

The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and friendly. Her waitress was fantastic to say the least. She was at our table all the time interacting with us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding. Great dining experience. Highly recommended by my wife and I. And the owner made sure to greet everyone.

Oysters were good size but tasted like no other oyster I’ve had. Not a good taste. Bisque had a film on it, sitting in the bowl too long. Not hot, and the consistency of a very thick cold honey. Shrimp and lobster in name only, 4 very small pieces of meat. All of them would have fit on the spoon. Tacos were plain in looks and taste. Onion rings were nicely cut with their own seasoned batter.

Food is not bad, but you’re definitely going to get your daily allowance of sodium here! Softshell crab was decent, but heavy breading. Creamed spinach was good, as was the Bloody Mary. Prices aren’t great, but better than some of the options in the area.

My husband took me and my boys to eat here. I’d heard about it but not near as much as I should have. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was fantastic. The appetizers were amazing. We had alligator bites and seared Tuna bites. (Wow)!! The entrees were amazing. We had the Mardi Gras pasta which was the best of all, char oysters with bacon, the au gratin and stuffed fish. I can’t tell you how wonderful our server was and even exiting the restaurant they were just so polite. I can’t wait to go back an get the Mardi Gras pasta again.

The grilled oysters were cold, dried out, stuck to the shells and tasted very fishy. I don’t mind paying for good food but when I pay 35 dollars ( crazy) for a dozen of charbroiled oysters I’d hope they were at least edible! We waited at least 45 minutes to get our food. We visited last Sunday. it was close to closing not sure if that was the issue. We will not be back!

Beautiful, lively and supremely hospitable. The atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable and spry.
Food was outstanding, sure to please all pallets. I’ll definitely be back. I travel to Waveland from NOLA twice a month and this has definitely become my new lunch spot!
Ask for Rachel , she’s the best.

I usually get the redfish, which my wife enjoys also. I wanted to try the Eggplant Parmesan but was unsure of getting anything else but the redfish. I liked it and would order again.Our servers are always pleasant. Sometimes the owner comes by and says hello
