Wow, I don’t know where to start. This place is amazing ! The tavern is great. The bar service is top knotch. Drinks were always replenished, and the wait staff were 5+ stars. CJ was amazing she was so attentive and made great recommendations! She made us feel like we had known each other for years. We are definitely stopping here next time. The whole experience was fantastic! River did a great job taking care of the people sitting at the bar. You two are amazing!

It has been a while since I have been here. The renovations look fantastic!! The atmosphere is top-notch as always. The service is super efficient and has small town friendliness. The food is as terrific as I remembered it being!! Fresh cut fries and burgers were my meal and it was fabulous!!! Thank you to the wait staff and the cook(s)!!!!

Great experience and very nice seating area on the open patio. The server was great and so was the food. I had the Lux burger and an apple ale on tap from the local brewery Jackie-O’s, which I highly recommend. It’s also very convenient having a full restaurant and bar inside the hotel. It’s only a 3-5 minute bus ride or 10-15 minute walk to the Ohio University campus as well.

Took my partner here for a date night and was not disappointed. We ate in the Bunch of Grapes Tavern off of the tavern menu. Do not be shy about looking at this menu. Burgers and sharables are amazing and a wonderful menu for a date. I had a draft beer and my partner had a Hotel Berry cocktail. My beer was ice cold and their cocktail was photo worthy.

I travel to Athens often to visit my granddaughters who attend Ohio University. On May 20 we went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We ordered two filet dinners that included brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes at $39 per meal . When our dinners arrived I cut my steak and took one bite and it tasted like the meat was bad it had a funny smell and my granddaughter could not eat hers either the rest of the meal the brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes were cold. I called the waitress over and asked her if we could order something else and she said yes we had already ate an appetizer. We took a look at the menu and decided we did not want to order another meal. I shared that with the waitress who was very nice and she came back with the bill and said they had removed one of the meals from the bill and asked me if that was OK. I told her I did not think that was fair but I would pay the bill. I said I think $39 for me eating two bites of cold mashed potatoes and very little of the brussels sprouts and none of the steak in the same for my granddaughter was a bit much to pay . But I did not want to argue with her it was not her fault. So I paid the bill and I left. I was not pleased at all as to how this was handled. Traveling to Athens will no longer include this particular restaurant.

When visiting your first year on OU campus, Cutler’s is the place to treat yourself. The brunch menu is exceptional. Thank you Chef for your attention to detail, especially on Parents Weekend.

We stop here everytime we are on the way home from flying one of our planes at UNI airport and food is always good, as is the service. On the off chance you hit a bad night, they take care of it with service!
