From the seasonal specials, we had the roasted conference pear with burrata cheese. I love the pear , which gives the sweetness to the prosciutto crisps and the burrata cheese gives the creamy taste which was not cloying. The hamachi and scallop ceviche was also on point with its citrusy and salty flavours.
We had the off menu order of mushroom soup and lobster bisque. Both were decent, not overly rich, though the mushroom soup was on the saltier side.
The prime porterhouse steak and pork chop kept to their usual standards. It was the first time we tried the rotisserie chicken which was tender and flavourful. Another first was the lamb chops which was well marinated and easy to chew. Another off menu was the Shanghai lobster curry rice, which was presented nicely with the lobster shell and chopped meat drizzled with curry on rice. Slightly on the sweeter side but something different from the standard menu.
We had the standard signature sides of peewee potatoes, creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, mash potatoes and my favourite was the roasted broccoli.
Of the 3 desserts of strawberry almond financier, chocolate soufflé, baked Kaya Alaska, the last with my favourite Kaya was to my liking.
Oh other than the signature ‘Call Me Daddy’ cocktail, we tried a variety of mocktails, mainly fruity floral and all looked and tasted good.
First, the service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful.
The steak was absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked with a beautiful crust on the outside and tender, juicy inside. Easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in Singapore. And I have to specifically mention the mashed potato, hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Silky, buttery, and impossibly smooth. It deserves its own spotlight.
We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary sliders and sweets, which were such a lovely touch. The birthday dessert plate was beautifully presented and made the evening feel even more special.
The ambience is elegant yet comfortable — perfect for a celebration or a special night out.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience in Singapore. I’ll definitely be back.
We were started off with an assortment of freshly baked breads, which was a great way to kick things off. This was followed by the oysters we ordered, incredibly fresh and briny and just perfect.
Then came the main act, the steak. It was unbelievably juicy and tender, cooked exactly how you’d hope a premium steak would be. While it was definitely too big for two people, that’s hardly a complaint, more of a warning to come hungry.
The candlelit atmosphere added a beautiful, intimate touch to the evening and made the whole night feel extra special.
Overall, exceptional food, top notch service, and a memorable ambience. Highly recommend for a special occasion or whenever you want to treat yourself.
Food is great as many reviews had mentioned. I particularly like the crab cake with clean and delicate tasting. The many option of bread rolls are fun to start, the sides are simple food executed well. USDA porterhouse is good, but i wish it was not sinewy and less greasy with more crust. Flavour wise is good, meaty and lean on 1 side and fattier mouthfeel on the other. Wagyu beef sliders were on the house and they taste great too. All their food is unpretentious type that are executed well.
Our dinner is closed with the best basque cheesecake i’ve had it’s so smooth, not too sweet and raspberry coulis goes so well with it. Special shout out to Kim and Dan who made our dining experience that much better. You guys are awesome and your service made a big difference and reason to come back and recommend this place ❤️
Yes it’s not inexpensive, but since we don’t drink alcohol much, I find that the food is of great value given the portion size, location and how great the service is. Really excellent and attentive service by the staff at CUT.
Everyone from the front of house, to the waiters, food runners and floor manager are very friendly and genuine with their service.
Also, they give you a free parking coupon every table for the mall, which that in itself is already worth $20 lol
Thank you for the great experience! We will be back
Food was excellent and they have maintained their complimentary bread’s standards over the years, which is truly heartening to see. Steak had a great crust and was tender, brussel sprouts were grilled nicely, and the Mac and cheese was amazing. The array of sauces served with their steak also works perfectly well.
Will highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate your special occasions.
Having multiple dietary requirements including being coeliac, the experience was beyond stress free, with the staff making me feel so comfortable and the chefs making changes to the menu to accomodate! The food was truly mouth watering! We couldn’t be more appreciative!
A special mention to Rjoy and Vatsala who were so attentive, kind and made our experience one to remember! We will definitely be back in the future!
What really made the night exceptional, though, was the service. I’d like to highlight Dan and Kay Enn for their outstanding hospitality. I was dining with my two kids, and my younger one (4 years old) can be quite difficult to manage. She became upset and kept crying while blowing the birthday candles, but Kay Enn was incredibly patient and attentive. She went above and beyond to calm her down by offering a complimentary ice cream, which we truly appreciated.
Dan was equally impressive. He made the effort to remember our names and addressed us personally instead of generically calling out to my husband. That small but thoughtful gesture brought the service to an entirely different level and made us feel genuinely valued.
Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing service, and a wonderful environment. Absolutely worth paying for a premium dining experience. We will definitely remember this night.
Our assigned waiter displayed a lack of attentiveness throughout the meal. Dishes were presented carelessly, water orders were mixed (still and sparkling), and there was unnecessary pressure placed on our group to order quickly. On several occasions, we had to request assistance from staff not responsible for our table, as our primary server was unresponsive.
Given the premium price point of approximately SGD 1,500 for four guests, the service fell well short of what one would expect from a fine-dining establishment of this caliber.
The food was very good. Amongst the food we had, the Crab Cake (Maryland Blue Crab Cake, Heirloom Tomato Relish, Basil Aioli) and the bone-in steak (USDA Prime Bone In New York 575g) were noteworthy. The Crab Cake was light and fragrant. The steak’s doneness was spot-on, and it was rich and flavourful even with just sea-salt.
But what was most memorable was the service. All the staff who served us were so nice and accommodating. We’ll like to give a special shoutout to Kim who served us the steak. We enjoyed ourselves, and will return to Cut again.
