I just wanted to provide my feedback on the experience I received at custards Last Stand at the Lee’s Summit location today.
I had my service dog with me and went to sit down and the manager proceeded to tell me that I was not allowed to be in there with my pet. I told her my dog was a service dog and she continued to tell me that I needed to leave. I then told her that I’m not leaving because this is a service dog and she walked away. I found out after the conversation that she was in fact the manager when I decided to ask for a manager. I did tell her that she needed to get some education on service dogs and what she is allowed to ask me. She was overly rude and did not want to give me the time of day. On the other hand, the girl at the front who is training the new guy was so super sweet and nice and she honestly needs the manager position because she was great. I would hate to see you guys get sued over a service dog. I would never sue you over it but your employees need to be aware of the laws that go on around us before they go telling customers to leave.
There are also no signs on the door saying anything about pets or service dogs. I was just surprised and disappointed that I bought ice cream and then was treated like that after. Very hostile.

Several times now they have messed up what my family has ordered via the drive thru. This time it was the incorrect thing on 2 of 4 items. The workers appeared to be more interested in having fun with each other than providing customer service. When I called the manager to lodge a complaint, it would have been difficult for him to seem less interested.

They sell ice cream cones, concrete, sundaes, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and flavored popcorn! Their burgers and french fries are pretty good! Its set in a retro 1950s vibe, and staff were very friendly. During the holiday season they sell a variety of Christmas tins filled with different types of flavored popcorn.

This place has the WORST ice creams I’ve had. They leave the worst after taste, malts are poorly made and nasty, and they freezer burned most of our ice creams. The strawberries tasted old, and the ice cream itself tasted like some nasty artificial strawberry made by someone who doesn’t know what a strawberry tastes like. Not to mention the AI generated stickers all over the counters.

Cute 50’s style diner atmosphere with Ron’s of tasty custard treats. A bit cheaper than Andy’s Frozen Custard with tons more options and flavors. The Black Forest Concrete was to die for. Looking forward to going back and trying many ofthr other flavors and combinations.

custards is superior to andys in most areas. only possible downside is that nearly the entire staff is high schoolers, while this is not a bad thing, service can be questionable. The treats have been and are still superb. Love exists here and we mustn’t let it die out to the chains. Plus this food is affordable, its simple but fun. Perfect atmosphere, i just wish 291 wasnt there but, alas. I will never stop going here. Custards 4L

I came here late at night for some evening custard, and it was pretty good. It wasn’t the best custard I have had, but certainly very good. I wish I had gotten just a little more of the toppings in my concrete. The staff was nice and accommodating, especially since we stayed until close. It has a very unique vibe/feel and I’d definitely like to return here at some point.
