The Curtice Hy Flash is a family run business, operating for over 50 years. Once was a fuel station. Converted to a tavern in 1988. It is now a tavern that offers a variety of beverages. We also have snacks such as chips, pretzels, chicken wings, fries etc. Breakfast was started in1996. It is open 7 days a week that offers biscuits and homemade gravy, sandwiches, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, etc. everything is made to order. We also have weekly specials. The hours of operation for breakfast are 5 am -11 am November, December, January February March. April 1st thru October 31st we will be open 4 am thru 11am the tavern is open 7 days a week at 530 am closing at 230am

Absolutely amazing food! Super awesome service.
I stopped by on a Saturday morning around 7. Was served promptly. Wasn’t passed over or treated differently for not being a regular. Everything was fresh and very good quality. Got the BLT and some mini waffles. They didn’t scrimp on the bacon, either.

Great spot to grab a bite to eat! Recommended by my buddy and his dad when I was visiting. Great staff and food! They were gracious due to the food coming out a little later than usual. The cook made a phenomenal medium steak, eggs, and home fries. The waitress checked on us multiple time and was apologetic. We had no issue with it. Things happen. Try the country fried steak too. Super delicious with the gravy on top.

Darn good food! The prices are low, so I didn’t know how the portions would be, but I could only eat half of my meal! The service was great, and our waitress stayed on top of everything. The food was cooked perfectly- They even did the poached egg perfect! I can’t wait to grab a plate the next time that I’m in town to visit! Shoot I didn’t even see the bar!

Breakfast was good. Small restaurant with that personal touch. My only concern was the toast was burnt and they brought it out and asked if it was ok. They should have just remade the toast.

Great place for a quick and delicious breakfast. Service was fast and friendly. The Bono Burger Deluxe on rye toast is a heart stopper! Crispy sausage burger, hash browns, egg and toast covered, I mean covered in chunky sausage gravy.

Potatoes were good, my over medium eggs were runny. The sausage was very salty and the bacon was terrible, bacon should be crispy and not like a strip of raw ham. I may try again when I’m in town but definitely something else off the menu

This place is awesome. Food and coffee are good and HOT! Hours are great since they open early. People and service is really good. Prices are a bit high, but worth what you get. So glad I found this place.
