Excellent service, food was ready a bit before the estimate. We had Paneer Masala, Mango Chicken, Samosa Chaat, and Biryani (also ordered rice and naan). The Samosa Chaat plate has excellent flavor, the paneer and chicken both were soft and delicious, and the Mango curry had the most mango flavor I have ever had in a curry, so big plus there. The food itself was great perhaps not the best curry I have ever had, but still a fantastic addition for Steinbach – it is really great to see some more cultural diversity here.

We wanted to support a local small business, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The delivery took over an hour and ten minutes, and the food quality just wasn’t there. The garlic naan was undercooked and doughy, and the butter chicken had pink, undercooked pieces. I ended up with terrible stomach pains afterward. Really unfortunate experience and likely won’t be ordering again.
Edit: Curry top’s response to the above review was very quick. They ensured us that the quality of their products is thoroughly checked and assisted us with a refund. Customer service is top notched!

Great Indian food for low price. If you want 5 star Indian food, expect to pay more. I love their butter chicken curry. I add a little cumin and ground spicy chili peppers.

The food was not good. Naan bread came warm but 30 seconds out of the Tinfoil became almost hard as a rock and tasted like cardboard. Samosas are not home made, from a box im sure. And the rice was pure mush and inedible. Won’t eat here again.

Do not recommend. First, this a commercial kitchen out of a house/residence? Certainly looks like it. Regardless I Ordered two chicken dishes that should be worlds apart in flavour, they tasted identical and were not good, most of the containers were just oil. Naan was dry and tasted like frozen commercially produced product. Rice came wrapped in foil, yep just a tiny patty of cooked white rice wrapped in foil. Samosa plate was ok minus the noodles. Kheer was ok also. Ate 3 bites of the entrees and rest went to the garbage. Disappointing and not worth the $$. Wish I could have a refund as I just ordered pizza. Which is what you should do instead of this.

I ordered the butter chicken. It came in a little Tupperware container that was half filled. No rice. I don’t know, but for over $16 I kind of expect rice. The sauce was very runny and had hardly taste. But it was spicy. It just burned that’s it. There was a faint taste, very faint. This is supposed to feed 2-3 people. It was a soup for one. I am glad I ordered some naan too.
Now for the positive things. My kids liked the naan. And the chicken seemed juicy.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and today I finally had the opportunity and I was so glad I did!
The food was top tier. Authentic Butter-Chicken like no other. The flavor was spot on with the perfect level of spice/ heat that packs a pleasant punch.
I highly recommend this place if your looking for an amazing Indian home-cooked meal

I don’t like writing reviews but this warrants one. I have to say I greatly enjoy this take out restaurant. I am pretty new to this area and have been slowly trying the cuisine and found myself impressed when I tried the CurryTop Café. So far I have tried about half their menu and nothing was disappointing. I particularly like the Butter chicken and the Samosa Chaat Plate. I travel for work and have had curry all over the world and when I say this take out spot is near the top of the list it is no small accolade for me. If I had one small critique I would say it would be nice on the website to be able to select the spice level from 1-5 as I would enjoy the food being spicier.

I placed an order online this morning and had to pick a delivery time of 12:10 or later. I ordered 4 orders of butter chicken. I gave the address, the unit number, and even explained that I would wait outside as one of the rides from summer in the city was still there. I went outside at 12, and waited. At 12;15 I finally checked the status of the order and it showed they delivered at 11:49. I called the driver, and said he left it at the address provided. Not true. The driver came back and he showed me where he left the order. It was at the wrong address. I went to that business, and they said no one received and order. I tried calling the restaurant, and they don’t answer the phone and has not returned my message. My order was over $72.00. Either this is a scam and it’s not actually a restaurant, or the delivery driver also lied. Either way, I’m not happy. If I receive a call back from this “restaurant” I will update my review. Until then, beware this is not a legit place to order food.
EDIT – I did receive a call back from the kitchen who was very apologetic. They have contacted the driver, and made sure I was getting a refund. He said he could keep an eye on things and make sure this was rectified.
EDIT#2 – I received my refund this morning. Thank you. Once I am able to, our office will try to order from here again. We really were looking forward to some good butter chicken!
