The best Indian food in Sarasota! The service is friendly and personable and the food is excellent. We ordered mango curry chicken (amazing), Dahl (lentils), mater (with peas), vegetable birany, and garlic Naan. It’s all amazing with “BAM” flavor. The only negative is the cheap Styrofoam containers used for leftovers, which leaked all over the bag. I’ll mention this next time I visit.

The food was okay, nothing amazing. Now, just FYI, I’ve have had some amazing Indian food in the past so maybe I’m a little spoiled when it to the quality of Indian food I’m used to.

My wife ordered some cheese dish that she said was okay but it was nothing to write home about. She told me that it was lacking in the flavor dept.

The chicken Tikka Masala I had here was not the normal recipe that I’m used to. It wasn’t a curry like I’m used to. It was more like the consistency of chunky Mexican salsa. It was also a little too on the sweet side for me. And it didn’t taste anything like the usual Indian restaurant recipes I’m used to.

The lamb saag was the best part of my meal. It was good, just not “amazing!”. The weird part is that our meal took longer than normal to come out, but there was only one other small family in the entire restaurant…?

The service was good though, at first, our plates were taken away quickly, and we were checked on frequently…. up until the last 25 minutes of our meal… No one continued to check on us then, and we even had to get someone’s attention just to get our bill. There was a group of employees just feet away from us talking to each other and just ignoring us….? That was just weird!

I think we’ll give this place at least one more chance. Maybe we came on an “off” day or something? I don’t know. Our experience here is just such a mixed bag that I’m not sure if should recommend it or not.

This restaurant always provides the freshest, most flavorful, and delicious Indian food! We’ve eaten Indian food in many places (even in India!) and this restaurant is the real deal. We love the chana masala, the chicken saag, and the shrimp vindaloo (which is very spicy hot!). We highly recommend Curry Station. Especially dining in, when they bring super fresh food to your table in decorative, Indian metal pots. Go and enjoy!

This was our first time in an Indian restaurant and it did not fail to impress! The atmosphere was great, colorful tile wall art, tasteful Indian decor and Artwork, and fun mood lighting. The food was fantastic. Goat Kebabs with mint sauce for an appetizer, Bazmati Rice with Chicken and Shrimp Vindaloo for dinner with Roti to pull it all together. And we also tried the Taj Mahal Beer, a great smelling spiced lager. We’ll be back for sure!

The restaurant has a wide selection of choices especially for vegetarians and vegans. However, the vegetable pakora in the image below was $6 but only came with like 7-9 measly slices of zucchini and potato. A let down. You’d think “fried vegetables” would be more than just ornamented home fries. I just expected a more variety of vegetables than just half of them being potatoes. I ordered okra masala and my fiancé got vegetable shahi korma. I asked for spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all. The food was bland like they are not adding any seasoning at all. It was well cooked food and I still ate it, they obviously know how to make delicious Indian food but they just don’t add any spice profile to the food at all just a little salt and pepper, it tastes like.

Much better places in town.

Curry sauce is thick with little to no spice, chicken tasted under cooked.

Very disappointed because Indian is one of my favorite foods by far.

22$ for this was more than a little bit of a letdown.

Excellent food!
The naans just ain’t it. It is just a industrially produce naan you could buy frozen at any grocery store.

Had korma for lunch. I bet they would’ve been packed if they had an affordable lunch menu. I ate alone had chicken korma. Probably the best I’ve had. I ordered garlic naan, had a split of prosecco, and a very small dessert. It was $40 just for me. That pretty high for lunch. The naan was excellent. It was a nice portion size. The server was very sweet and accommodating. My only 2 complaints were the price and the dessert. Its usually served warm at other places. It was refrigerater cold, small portion and honestly reminded me of the canned version that I’ve bought. It had an off flavor like it was old. Overall, excellent food. I’m not rushing back due to price but I will return.
