The owner greeted me at the door and from that moment on, I knew that I had not made a mistake. I had the Beef Biryani and Samosas and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous and for me to say that … it had to be a lot. Everything about this little gem is wonderful. Most authentic than anywhere I’ve sampled in the states. If you’re in Baton Rouge…you have got to stop in for a meal.

Ordered Chicken Biryani, Spicy. It was quite simple and delicious. Not oily and rice was cooked perfectly. I did not detect mint, the overall flavor was of coriander, cilantro, and slight cumin. Very good overall, I do miss some more complex flavors present in other Biryanis but as a clean and simple example quite tasty.

It’s a hidden gem… a hole in the wall, small restaurant with great aroma of food and good service. What attracted me to this restaurant is the aroma of food while shopping next door. Food is delicious and we will definitely come back to try different food items.

My family and I have eaten here before but our experience last week was outstanding. The owner took time to explain our dishes and make recommendations. He even spent time and encouraged my son who is very interested in cooking.

Excellent food and excellent customer service! Everything cooked fresh with amazing flavor! I got a bunch of apps. Chili shrimp , a cauliflower dish, rice, lentil soup, stuffed potato bread and regular bread. I’ll update all the dish names when I have time. Go to this place for amazing Indian food!
