The lamb korma is one of the best I’ve ever had! A wonderful family runs the restaurant and are always so kind. Highly recommend the lamb korma, butter chicken and the papadams with mango chutney.

I ordered chaat papdi by phone and picked it up. The spices were fine, but even though I asked for extra dahi as well, it wasn’t added. Because of that, the chaat tastes quite bland. I don’t know if all food is like that but for me first experience was bad experience.

Was pretty disappointed in the Shelburne location. Picked up our order to find they forgot the rice and the worst part was our papadums ! $5 for 2 smashed up in a box. I called and they seemed to not think anything was wrong with that ? Never have I been to an Indian restaurant and had my papadums come smashed into pieces in a box ? They called back and asked for my address , I sat thinking they will come deliver me some new full papadums and my missing rice but then proceeded to ask me to come pick up ? Why ask for my address ? So confused and disappointed.

The food and ambiance were excellent, but the service fell short. One person was managing everything and seemed distracted on the phone. We were even served a used water bottle. Hope they improve the service because the place has a lot of potential.

GARLIC NAAN are so soft and the quantity is always good. the owner and the staff everyone is so kind.. They accommodated my preferences very well. Best indian food I have had in years. Incredible selection of dishes and generous portions (the biggest samosas I have ever seen in my life), everything was fantastic. I was particularly impressed at the extras – the raita, the tamarind sauce, the pickle, all were great. 100% recommend for take-out.

There are times when you go out to a restaurant and have a nice meal. Then there are times when the restaurant is run by people who have a passion for their food and who strive to give their patrons a great dining experience. We had vegetable pakoras, fish curry, butter chicken biryani, chicken vindaloo, and yellow daal fry, with rice and garlic naan. All of it was excellent and it arrived quite promptly. I highly recommend.
