The food was so good. I will definitely be back! We head the chicken tandoori and the presentation was amazing! Beautiful! We also had the vegetarian platter off of the appetizer menu. It was out of this world! We had a side of aloo naan that maybe could’ve been cooked a little longer but good none the less. We topped it off by sharing an amazing rice pudding! Don’t forget a side of rich creamy yoghurt. The service was fantastic! They could use some more decor and I didn’t notice a restroom. But I think this maybe my new fav place in Longview!! ❤️❤️❤️

First time trying Curry King since their opening a few months back. We got the buttered chicken w/veggie samosas and of course paired with rice and garlic naan. Everyone working was very friendly and service was FAST despite how busy it was when we got there. I wish you guys all the success because your food is needed in our community. Can’t wait to return to try other menu items!

Food was top notch, super good. My friend is a spice head and ordered his Vindaloo XXL spicy and they provided Appetizers were excellent, the Chutney is my new favorite dish. The customer service gave off a slightly socially anxious vibe but still polite and friendly. The lobby is comfortable, (cool, well lit) but slightly boring ? Would add some deco myself but comfort is what’s most important. Will 1000% be going back !

Service was great .. really great! Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The atmosphere was ok, typical, nothing exciting or interesting, kinda bare bones. I have eaten a lot of Indian food, and let me say I am thrilled they are in town, I will be back, but it is just ok, not great, but not bad either, just ok. Had the butter chicken, which is one of my favorites, and it was ok. The lamb massala was decent. I am sure with time it will improve as they dial in their recipes.

Great food, great and friendly service. We had been waiting for Curry King to open and it did not disappoint. My wife and I came in for dinner on a Sunday evening and promptly received a friendly greeting. We continued to receive prompt and friendly service from several members of the staff.

We tried several different items on the menu, and we enjoyed all of them. The Onions Bhaji were nicely battered and fried and came with delicious sauces, the Coconut Curry was flavorful and delicious, the Chicken Tandoori was savory and tender, the Garlic Naan was soft and baked to perfection, and the Mango Lassi was smooth and packed full of mango flavor.

Our only complaint would be the lack of atmosphere, but hopefully that changes over time. Some quiet background music, artwork, and maybe some plants would go a long way.

I would suggest ignoring the reviews from the Karens, as they hardly seem credible. If you’re feeling “uncomfortable” because someone doesn’t understand you, you might be a racist. Being upset or frustrated would be appropriate reactions, but “uncomfortable” is not. Also, it’s just “naan”, not “naan bread”, “naan” literally means bread, so you’re essentially saying “bread bread”. And to the family all saying “bow up”in your reviews, careful, your southern is showing.

If you’re looking for authentic, comforting, and absolutely crave-worthy Indian food in Longview, Curry King is a gem worth visiting again and again. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the star of the show—tender pieces of chicken simmered in a velvety, perfectly balanced sauce that’s rich without being heavy. The flavors are layered beautifully, with just the right amount of spice and a touch of sweetness that keeps you going back for “just one more bite.”

Of course, no meal here is complete without their Garlic Cheese Naan. Freshly baked, soft, and fluffy with a slight crisp on the edges, it’s generously filled with melty cheese and topped with aromatic garlic. It’s the kind of side dish that ends up stealing the spotlight—and it’s absolutely perfect for scooping up every last drop of that tikka masala sauce.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always make you feel like a valued guest.

Soooo I don’t want to outright say it’s bad, but it’s definitely not the best. I’ve had very good Indian food multiple times before and I don’t think this meets the standard, it tastes just about as good as a frozen or jarred sauce for what I had. (No hate that stuff is pretty alright). The garlic butter naan was tasty but it was a bit cold. Tandoori chicken was a tad dry, everything had good flavor but it’s definitely lacking a lot. I also know the butter chicken is not made quite properly, there are ingredients missing in it. They are brand new so they don’t have a lot of decor yet, it could use some sprucing up! I’m sure they’ll get there! They do have very polite and kind staff though, normal waiting time for service. The last thing is I think the portions are overpriced, for what I paid I could’ve gotten a much bigger and better quality of food at a few other places in town.

The food is so good very nice to have an indian food option in Longview! The restaurant is clean, people are friendly and the food is quite tasty. I had the coconut curry medium heat, lamb samosa and garlic naan, all of my favorite things. Will definitely be back for more! Thank you!

The food here was delicious. We had the mango Curry, basmati rice, Garlic and cheese Naan, chicken tandoori and a mango Lassi. Everything was good my favorite was the delicious curry it had a nice texture plenty spicy as requested. It was well seasoned and creamy. The Naan was piping hot, fluffy and cheesy with a nice toasted char. The chicken tandoori was also yummy with a grilled flavor. Basmati rice was fluffy and delicious. The lassi has a strong mango presence and was refreshing and helped cool the spice from the curry. I definitely recommend you give this place a try.

In regards to the interior I believe it could use of a little decore as the walls are empty but to each their own. We did bring our 5 month old with us and everything went well, I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s kid friendly but there’s not anything that makes it not feel kid friendly.
