Great food! First time there today for the lunch buffet… I loved the butter chicken and the goat. Perfect rice nice selection. One warning if you are not used to spice and indian food don’t go overboard or you might get diarrea. I am very used to spicy food and was fine. I like how clean everything is this is an important factor to me I will definitly be back!

15 of us went there late in the afternoon, we called ahead of time because the restaurant wasn’t supposed to be open between 3-5 pm. But they happily obliged and had a huge table ready when we came in at 4.30 pm.

We had a gift certificate that was purchased the day before that they would not accept, saying they no longer accept them (from the day before!) We were about to leave when they said they are willing to honor the certificate, but then did not do so when it came time to pay the bill. In addition, the food was not very good and much spicier than requested. The waiter was very nice but overall a terrible experience, will never go again.

Dirty. I could see something smeared on the wall. Bug traps in the corners. Dirty knife. I would hate to see this place with the lights turned up, lots of wear on everything.
Ordered the appetizer sampler. It was chicken and potato all breaded and deep fried exactly alike. You could barely tell one thing from another.
Wife ordered a seafood dish with scallops and shrimp and crab. No scallops, “crab” was the fake stuff, the shrimp were tiny bay shrimp and lots of mussels, not in the shell. When have you ever been served mussels without the shell? It was like it was salvaged from yesterdays buffet or something. Yuck.
My lamb was not ‘fork tender’ as you’d expect. Not horrible but not what I’m used to at an Indian restaurant.
The place was nearly empty, and now I understand why. The waitress was nice though.

Favorite meal items:
1. Goat briani
2. Butter chicken
3. Garlic naan
4. Chicken makhani
All of this together is about $30 and feeds two for about 2 meals. Tastes surprisingly good for a chain restaurant.
The owner is really nice too.
Although you can eat in the restaurant and will get some basic snacks while waiting for your meal, I usually take my food home only because Sprint 4G internet isn’t reliable in the general area.
Lastly often on Groupon there would be great deals available.

Tried this place 3X because first time food was “ok” second food was horrible ! So I figured I would still give it another shot…big mistake. Honestly I don’t understand why anyone would eat here? Mayuri right down the street has much better taste and a better (actually hot not lukewarm like been sitting out without warmer) food on buffet. Won’t ever be going here again

The food here is excellent. The decor is decent and the wait staff is friendly. Compared to the other Indian restaurant in the area, Spice India is definately a better choice.

Great food, good price.
My only problem was with the online pay company. I ebded up having to pay again in person. The owner did everything he could to fix the problem when I’d done all that I could. In the end I was refunded.
Very happy with the restaurant. Not so much with the website.

I visited the restaurant for Saturday afternoon buffet. I am from Chicago and have a plenty of choice Indian restaurants. This was not bad at all. Food was fresh and well balanced in spices.

Visited only once. Food is not that great. It’s just ordinary.We ordered chicken chettinad. It’s not even closer to what they make it at Mirch restaurant in Edison, NJ. Also ordered a vegetable entree. It was just ordinary.
