This is my FAVORITE fried chicken. Unfortunately, I live too far away to have it often. So, when a trip to Utah happens, Curry Fried Chicken is at the top of my restaurant list. Five years since I last had them and they’re still the best!

I’ve literally tried every single item on the menu by now, and I have to say every single thing hits the spot. My favorite items are the curry fried chicken plate, chicken Shawarma wrap, chapli kabob plate and mango lassi. It has a great and perfect location in downtown Salt Lake. Definitely worth trying if you want some unique Halal eats in the Salt Lake area.

Went to Curry Fried Chicken right when they opened for lunch and it was worth it! I tried their popular Hot Curry Fries and they didn’t disappoint—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I also had the Chicken Shawarma Wrap which was absolutely delicious. Everything had a great spicy kick. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and service was quick. The only downside was their ice machine being out of order, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great experience. Can’t go wrong with a triple D location. Didn’t realize that when I chose to go here. Great vibes. The smells are authentic and the fried chicken was crispy and very flavorful. I did the hummus plate with a side of samosas. Delicious for those as well.

The chicken shawarma wrap was amazing. That’s what you should get. The chicken plate wasn’t my favorite but I’m not a big chicken on the bone girl so that’s probably why. I loved the fries and overall was very happy with my meal.

This place might have the best fried chicken I’ve had in Utah! The chicken is well marinated and the breading is very crispy and flavorful. They make everything fresh and to order so it may take a minute, but it’s worth the wait. The parking is also a little difficult, but there is customer parking in the back down a small alley way. Don’t pass on the samosas and hummus as well. This time I had the curry fried chicken hummus plate. The other chicken meal comes with delicious lentils potatoes and rice, a salad and pita bread. A very nice family run restaurant that is local and deserves all the accolades they have received!

Guy Fieri sent us here. We were in the city and absolutely craving fried chicken. We arrived here and were delighted with all the decor, nintendo with TMNT installed and all the celebrity photos. We ordered chai, kebab plate, cfc salad, curry fries and then a side order of fried chicken piece later haha. The game changer is the curry spice powder they sprinkle on top after frying the chicken. It was tangy and spicy. The kebab was so juicy and well seasoned. The lentils tasted homelike. The fried chicken in itself was crispy outside and whole lot juicy inside. The fries were spiced with curry powder and were delectable. The chai was clove forward and decent for a fried chicken place. We ate so fast that I don’t remember we have had a meal so quick in recent times. A great place and great value for your money.

I got the chicken shawarma and samosas. They were absolutely excellent. Samosas came with tasty sauce and the shawarma was juicy and had lots of chicken. My vegan friend got the falafel wrap and she loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful, they even had jarritos which is mandatory for all amazing restaurants. Will visit again!

This was my first visit to Curry Fried Chicken and buy was I delightfully surprised. The ambiance of the area and the restaurant was fun and gritty and live. It was a short walk from my hotel. I was greeted as I walked in and the place was sooo cool! Very cultured to where the owners originate I suppose. I asked for the wrap and a few pieces of curry fried. I sat down and I saw them put some chicken in the fryer. Within 10/15 mins I had a wrap and TWO pieces of curry fried. They said they gave me an extra cause the pieces were too small. The food was fantastic. I are in joy and left satisfied! Highly recommend if you’re visiting salt lake.
