The momos are more nepali style rather than delhi style the spicy chutney was fire( good). Chowmein had no vegetables except for an errant pea here and there and some chicken was dry maybe boiling noodles before serving or cooking them more will be better. The biryani was decent ..salt was less but that is easily rectified. Good amount of protein in momos and biryani. Fried rice were again dry like noodles. Not moist enough and overpriced like noodles. Lot of scope for improvement but good attempt.
Unfortunately we had all college students eating so before pics could be food was mostly all gone. Good quantity.
We had:
The chicken momo, steamed. It was a little spicy but not to hot.
The pork momo, fried. This one was my favorite. Not spicy, it had a gentle curry flavor.
Bhatti ko chowmein, added pork. It was also good, but the pork belly needed to be better rendered. I was mostly just chewing through large pieces of soft fat.
Tandoori chicken. This was incredible! I loved the char. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. It had a great flavor and even came with more sauce on the side should you want more.
Butter chicken. It was a little on the sweet side for me. I just wasn’t expecting the sweetness. It is the first time I have had it, so maybe it is supposed to be sweet. The chicken in it was very tender. The rice with it was perfectly cooked.
Garlic naan. It was a little undercooked for my preference, but still good.
Tandoori roti. It was the perfect utensil for scooping up the food
I would like to mention Lily, especially I’ve to gfimffthe young lady who served me & all of my questions She is absolutely sweet. My Homemade,
We were staying at a nearby hotel and made the walk on a Thursday. The establishment was clean & spacious. I didnt particularly care for the extra cool hue to the lighting inside (particularly along the walls), but that was my only critique and why I gave the atmosphere 4 stars.
Our server was attentive and gracious. She had no problem asking the kitchen questions I had. I even liked we could pay our bill at our convenience.
My daughter got Matar Paneer and I got Chicken Tikka Misala and we split the garlic naan and an order of samosas. We both LOVED our dishes and the apps. I couldn’t stop thinking about my leftovers in my hotel fridge later that evening, and again the next day. ALL DAY! I literally couldn’t stop talking about it at my nieces wedding to my family the following evening. My daughter felt the same and she eats plenty of Indian food regularly.
I just reheated a couple portions in my hotel room (2 days later) and its JUST as good as it was Thursday.
I am SO SAD my home is 1,000 miles away. I will visit every time I come back and try and find that SAME Tikka Masala flavor as here.
The decor and ambiance of the place was very inviting. They also had the best floor covering I ever seen in a restaurant. Most of all Sagaura P. was a very attentive and pleasant server and host. Will definitely be back !
Ft Worth, please don’t let this place dissappear. You have a true gem here!
The only (very, very minor) negative was that the night sign isn’t (or, at least, wasn’t) illuminated so it took a little searching to find after dark. But otherwise really A+
