I ordered ahead for pickup, it was ready when I got there, the receptionist was very sociable, check-out was seamless with Square. The Brisket Smoke Show was very good, smoky and tender, over a bed of rice with a great Thai green curry sauce, so well made I wanted more of it, 2 baby carrots, potatoes, pickles. The appetizer edamame and the sides curry cream corn and cucumber salad were spectacular, worth driving all the way downtown just for them, super flavourful and well seasoned. The cold noodles were too salty, but worked well paired with the rice. I did not eat in but was pleasantly surprised, they have 3 fairly spacious rooms and a relaxing atmosphere, not at all what I expected from the way old street view, see pics. Totally unique Thai-TX BBQ fusion, the brisket alone would stand tall compared to other BBQ joints in town but the mix is a class by itself. Loved it, will do it again.

Curry Boys is excellent. 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the brisket bowl. A friend had the pulled pork bowl. Pulled pork was extremely good. Sides were terrific. Cucumber slaw was refreshing with great textures. Perfect heat on the curry. I’d definitely go back to try the ribs and chicken.

Curry Boys BBQ, an easily spotted gem in its vibrant pink building on St. Mary’s strip, continues to impress. They serve the best ribs in town, accompanied by delicious sides like cream corn and edamame, and unexpected delights like nachos and flan. Their Good Luck Cluck and curry are not to be missed. The transformation from a pink shipping container to a full-fledged eatery is remarkable, maintaining an always lively and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway, the experience is consistently top-notch. A must-visit.

Good food, good service. Simple done right. No complaints, but also nothing that blew us away. Outdoor patio is nice when there is nice weather. Parking is a mess, but suppose that adds to the charm in the quirky neighborhood. The Tony Parker pulled pork was moist + not overly chewy like it often can be; The Good Luck chicken was a little dry on its own before immersing in the yellow aromatic spices. Not much as far as vegetables or stress; carrots and potatoes with cilantro and onions garnish. Appears to be the same for all bowls. The curries are more liquid consistency than might be expected. Heat level is probably more moderate than most Thai places, which is good for babies like me; was already more than ideal for me! Substituted noodles, worth the extra charge. Standard beverages, with bar available.

A really fun place with even better food. They don’t have an overly large menu, which is a good thing because it’s hard enough deciding from the existing selections. The bowls are huge and oh so delicious. The staff is so friendly, helpful and attentive. What a concept…. curry and BBQ! It works so well. Can’t wait to return. Please be aware that parking is very touch and go, meaning you may have to park a bit away from the restaurant and walk a bit, especially during peak times. But so worth it.

First time in San Antonio and was recommended this spot by Eater. Love the concept. Interior, service, and location is all great. Got to eat with plenty of space around at a reasonable price. Food was really good. Curry with brisket was a combination I never thought I would have. Garlic noodles were mid tho as a side. Recommend this place to try out!

This place is a hidden gem; the restaurant was pleasingly quaint. It has an old-fashioned type of charm to it. The staff was nice, professional, and attentive. I ordered two good luck cluck bowls and a brisket smoke show bowl with crispy chili oil and house pickles. For the drinks, I ordered a couple of fountain drinks and coconut water. They do offer beer on tap, and although the restaurant is small, they have two seating areas inside and one seating area outside. I enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere. So, I will visit this restaurant again.

Overall, it was very good but not a full 5 stars for every dish. The nachos and curries were both really good. The Smoke Show was our favorite but we would definitely order all 3 again. Was hoping for a bit more flavor in the queso. We debated on the creamed corn vs the noodles as a side to try and were disappointed in our choice. The noodles were really dry, had zero flavor, and were overpriced for the serving size. Service was welcoming and friendly and efficient. Bathroom was very clean. No parking lot – we parked on a side street in front of some houses.

I Love the humility of the owners and also the creativity over all. Their approach to food and their aesthetic is one to be applauded for. In the Bible we see in Zachariah 4:10 do not despise small beginnings. And they have definitely not despised that but in humbleness grew to where they are today! I speak a blessing upon this place in the name of Jesus. Come one come all and give this place a go. Truly a Hidden Gem in San Antonio
