I came here recently with the family and we were immediately seated. The menu was simple and easy to understand and the decor was pleasant, nothing too crazy. We ordered dosas, a paneer dish , an eggplant dish and a chole bhatura. I like how the dishes came with a side of pickle and they were served quickly. The dosa and chutneys were delicious and had the perfect crisp. We ended up also ordering a mango lassi; it was very rich so we split it into 2 and put a bit of water to cut the richness. I enjoyed my time, the staff were super friendly and prices are fair! I loved the touch of the engraved dishes, very neat! I did find that some flavours were a bit mild and at times I wasn’t sure what I was eating because it tasted one note. The portion size was slightly on the smaller side in comparison with other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Otherwise, I had a great time and may visit again to try another dish!

All the items I tried were really good. I visited the place twice and will visit it again soon for sure. Please do tell them your spice levels when asked or you have a specific preference. One of the items was a little spicy, it was good for me though, when we ordered it and I got to know that’s how it supposed it be later on…. Otherwise, “one of the best restaurant I visited”

We walked into this restaurant watching the staff bringing out fresh food and when we placed our order they immediately went back to make what we had wanted to order fresh. So already great signs of a good.
The staff was great here. We had seen reviews on Google and live in the area so decided to give it a shot and were really pleased to be dead. The six choices you have of a vegetarian side to pair with your rice are all delicious in each variant. Spice. My favorite was the eggplant.
Momos were really fresh and full of flavor. The Momo sauce is indeed extremely hot so be prepared.
The baan bread is also really delicious and very fresh. The smell itself was incredible.
If you’re in the mood or a vegetarian dish full of lots of spice and flavor, this is a place to come check out. A great presentation and serving of the dishes also.

Great food, cozy ambience, and amazing hospitality! There is not one thing that I would recommend because the entire menu is delicious. The one thing that fascinated me was that everything that you get in this restaurant is freshly made, they don’t use any canned products, right from their sweets, cakes, patties, food….EVERYTHING is freshly prepared for each order. This place is nothing short of awesome as a Vegetarian Indian Restaurant. Going by the good reviews, we drove all the way to Etobicoke to try out their food and it was worth a visit. We went in for liunch over the weekend and had a very pleasant overall experience.
The place is neat and clean with simple but beautiful decor, ambience that gives very positive vibes.
We ordered the Veg Thali and South Indian Tiffin. All the dishes tasted so good, not being spicy but still flavourful. The food gave us an impression that it is cooked fresh with authentic and pure ingredients. Their menu has so many options to choose from.
Rishi’s customer service was very good. We would definitely visit again to try out more dishes.

We dined in for lunch and had a great experience. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We tried both ‘full meal’ options ($15.99 each) which included a selection of curries, rice, Naan a dessert and more). We also had samosas which had a great pastry and filling.
The service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommended Curry and Chutney by Gopal and will be back!

Absolutely amazing experience. We had the dosa, pav bhaji, aloo tikki chaat, and the schezwan grilled cheese vada pav — everything was exceptional. The staff is really nice and the ambience is clean and inviting. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Was there for lunch yesterday and was absolutely stunned by the ambience, interiors, the food and the service. Firstly, the place is tucked away in a plaza and not a standalone location so it’s easy to miss. But once you’re inside it feels like home. Very clean and there’s this homely feeling to it. We had the idli, podi dosa and mysore Masala dosa. The food came quickly and the service was great. Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely coming back.
Edit: Came back again and this time we tried the south Indian thali and south Indian tiffin. Both were very flavourful and the dishes had distinct flavours. You can tell everything is made super fresh and the flavours are top notch. Compliments to the chef!
