This is a decent bbq spot. I’ve been to numerous bbq spots all around NC. This one is pretty good. Bbq is NC main dish and it varies depending on what part of the state your at. This one isn’t bad and the fried chicken is awesome. Will visit again and will recommend

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s been okay just haven’t been overly impressed. Today the burnt ends were very good but the shredded pork and shredded brisket were just okay. I’m very picky about pulled pork. This is definitely what I’m wanting for traditional NC style BBQ. It requires no sauce has a great vinegar based sauce already in it. The pulled chicken was good a little dry but still edible. The one thing I’d never had before nor will have again was the shredded brisket. Some people may like it but it’s not for me. The Mac and cheese was meh. Pasta was over cooked and mush. Cheese sauce wasn’t all that. But the baked beans made up for it. One of the best things was the Cheerwine in the fountain machine. Living in Virginia I can’t find it anywhere. All in all it’s worth stopping in for a bite to eat.

We got everything from the pulled beef brisket, brisket burnt ends, rotisserie chicken, mac and cheese, potato salad and hush puppies.
We also wanted to try all the different sauces so we took some of these home as well. I love hush puppies. First time to try these…TASTY.

Foods ok, I got a 2 meat plate; chicken bites and shredded brisket. The 5 chicken bites on the plate were very disappointing as a meat choice, the brisket was ok portion was ok at best. The slaw and greenbeens were good. The portions for price is ridiculous. Again the food ok. For 17.00 idk.

Nice restaurant that recently opened. Great pork BBQ and sides. Quick service and friendly staff. They have indoor and outdoor seating. This trip I had the 2 meat combo, pork BBQ and beef brisket with baked beans and sweet potato casserole. All were very good. Would like to see the brisket sliced instead of chopped. Just my personal preference.

Old style BBQ joint. Went with the 3 meat carnivore special. All the food groups there. Beef, chicken, pig. As a life long explorer of all things slow cooked go with the pork with vinegar. It’s definitely their strength. It’s the BBQ of choice in this region of the USA and they have perfected it at this restaurant. I basically saved it for last. The only thing was the hush puppies. I think they were probably cooked at too high a temperature and were too crispy for my taste.

Not what I expected! Food/service size was small. The taste was two thumbs down. I was very disappointed; I thought Carolina was supposed to have the best barbecue. I will not return.
