From the time I entered the establishment for the first time to a friendly greet and smile by Jess and listening to the music, I felt comfort. She informed me of the special for the day when I was seated, and I tried all of them, the lunch special chicken wrap, beet salad, and soup of the day white meat and kale with sausage. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the cook really did his masterpiece with the pineapple Pico de Gallo in the chicken wrap which set the flavor of the jerk chicken to a bursting flavor high, the flavor combination of the sweet beets and blue cheese in the salad was absolutely exquisite in taste, and the flavors of the sausage, broth, and beans in the soup of the day warmed and soothed my soul on this cold day downtown….CHEF KISS to you. The bartender can not be missed as I started my taste buds off with the pomegranate margarita on the rocks… ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This was an amazing experience and I will be returning again to try other foods on the menu. Thank you for the wonderful service and food.

Enjoyed a fish sandwich (maybe the best I’ve ever eaten) and a burger topped with roasted peppers. We sat out on the street side patio since the day was so lovely.

I don’t normally like to blast restaurants here but this is absolutely criminal. This is 6oz of spinach dip that cost $13 and a wedge salad w chicken for $19. I understand rising food costs and where we live but this is an absolute joke to charge that for 6oz of spinach dip and a quarter of a wedge of iceberg lettuce with maybe half a breast of chicken. Never ever again. We spent over $50 plus tip for two of these sad salads and one dip.

Our visit to Currents in Salida, Colorado was thoroughly enjoyable. We opted for outdoor seating and were delighted by the serene atmosphere. Noah, our server, was exceptional—attentive and friendly throughout our meal.
The French onion soup was a standout, with its rich flavor and cheesy goodness. The fish and chips were tasty, although they could have been a touch less greasy for our liking. My wife ordered the veggie wrap, which was decent but could have used something else to make it truly shine.
Overall, Currents offers a pleasant dining experience with its welcoming outdoor setting, delicious food, and excellent service. We look forward to returning to try more from their menu!

Always satisfied with my food here. Highly recommend the calamari, mussels, salmon wrap, fried chicken, and chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie is a bit on the smaller side if you’ve got a big appetite. Great cocktails. Good service.

Food is great. Every dish, appetizer or entree, was absolutely delicious. I’d have the recommend every dish I tried.
For appetizers, I recommend the spinach and artichoke dip that comes with naan on the side. The dip is super warm and flavorful and the naan is great.
For entrees, my dad and I shared the fish and chips, which was SOOO good. The fish was perfectly battered and super crunchy. The fries were super crunchy and well seasoned too.
My mom ordered the chicken borracho sandwich, and even though I didn’t try it, she really liked it.
Service here was great. There were only two waitresses but they were fast and nice.
