Easygoing bar/eatery serving cafe fare such as sandwiches, salads & baked goods, plus coffee & tea.

This was a great spot for breakfast. The prices were decent for downtown Chicago and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Nothing fancy, but very good food! Would definitely return.

The coffee was outstanding—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor—and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious: soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, ideal for relaxing, chatting, or spending quality time. The service was friendly and quick. I would definitely come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, and so happy to see labelled vegan options on the menu. I felt the avocado toast was a bit lackluster and could use some more seasonings, like everything bagel or even more salt etc. But I loved having the options and would go again.

Was a Chicago visitor for a day and a local recommended this place for breakfast. I really loved a wild mushroom omelette with cappuccino: amazing. Very nice atmosphere lots of space ,people can work there. Great location not far from Navy Pier. Very clean and modern.

This is a self serve breakfast restaurant where you order at the front and they bring you your food to your table. The food was good the eggs had a bit of an odd taste but the pancakes were amazing. I recommend this place if you want a nice breakfast spot.

Great place to work a bit on your laptop, good coffee and cozy atmosphere. The staff is very nice as well. The pastries seemed to be a bit old and a bit tasteless

We visited Cupitol from Toronto while visiting and it easily became the best breakfast place I’ve ever been too! The service was exceptional. The food was phenomenal! I can’t stop thinking about the breakfast sandwich & chocolate chip pancakes. Also, the Nutella latte was to die for! I definitely will return!

Love, love, love this coffee shop! The lounge and sitting areas are comfy and well kept. There is often so much natural light coming in from the big windows.
Most importantly the coffee and service are amazing. The food selection is great for breakfast and lunch. But, fair warning, the baked goods are fresh, flaky and addictive.
It can get crazy busy here but the staff do a great with helping you find a seat, clearing off table quickly or helping with to-go orders.
Vickie, the Manager, is awesome. She keeps things moving and will stop and chat when it’s not so busy. All around my favorite coffee shop in the city! I moved from the neighborhood a year ago and still come back multiple times a week!

Such an amazing little spot! The food was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and the fruit was beautifully ripe. I especially loved that the pastries and dishes were balanced—not overly sweet or heavy with sugar. My only regret is not discovering this place sooner!
Pro tip: Seating can be a little tricky at first. There’s a host stand if you’d like a table, or you can head straight to the line for takeout. Either way, you’ll place your order at the counter.
