Great little shop with quality cupcakes. There is no menu or website for ordering ahead or prices listed on a menu for clarity. The ordering process is walk into the shop and choose the cupcakes that are available in the display case. Lots to choose from. Just ask how much when you are in the store. Between $4-5 per cupcake is what I paid. Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate , raspberry cream all are very nice. Walmart has 12 mini cupcakes for $5 which lacks in quality but may be more affordable for a kids birthday party, or large gathering. But for high quality and a special occasion, this is the place! Especially if you have the budget.

I ordered a carrot cake decorated with cacti and it turned out absolutely beautiful! The cake itself was moist and flavorful. I’ll absolutely come back to Jan’s in the future. 🙂

If the product is fresh Why would you need to wrap it in plastic wrap? The only time I’ve ever seen this is when somebody is trying to preserve an older product shame on you, Jan for selling old product good luck to you

I’ve been there a few times and I’ve walked in to an elderly woman, Jan, reading a magazine, who seemed bothered that I merely walked in. I like giving people second and even third chances, but this woman surprises every time. She’s told me, “here I’ll give you this cookie,” as a tactic to then charge me for it. I’ve seen her, as I drive by early in the morning, walking in to her store with boxes of doughnuts from Basha’s to resell them. I hope she’s not marketing them as her own. Lastly, me and my kids got upset stomachs from eating some of her pastries. Whether they were freshly made or bought from one of the grocery stores, l never know. I can’t continue to support a shady and careless business owner. Shame on you, Jan.
*Edit. Notice her outrage about it not being a magazine. Plus, other posts on here will further prove that she did indeed has sold doughnuts. This woman can’t take accountability.

Online it said this place closed at 5pm on Saturday. I was so excited as we were driving on our way to Las Vegas stopping here in Kingsman. I got there at 4:50pm. I opened the door and two dogs started barking and came to the opened door. The lady, I guess this was Jan, said sharply “I’m closed. Shut the door so the dogs don’t get out”.
First of all, GROSS that her dogs were there running around. I would never want to buy a cupcake from someone who had their pets around my cupcake. Secondly, why so rude to a potential customer? If you are closed, lock the door and put the right time online and take down the “Yes we are Open” sign.

I special ordered 6 macaroons fir my grandsons bday on Mon for 7am Weds pick up. I asked if Jan if she used natural food coloring. She said yes and quoted me $2.50 each. When I arrived, Jan said they came out small so she gave me a few more. They looked exactly like the macaroons they sell at Smiths & Walmart and there were no other macaroons in the display case for sale. I’m disappointed bc I liked Jan and so do my gkids. I felt really played.
