I live locally and have visited the Cupboard Cafe many times, but this is not the place that you would suspect to have the best steak in town. We went in on a Thursday night and I can honestly say this was the best ribeye I’ve ever eaten in my entire life! It was cooked to perfection and was huge for less than $30… Our waitress Ann was super friendly and helpful. She recommended the ribeye to us and she was not wrong! We will definitely be back to have this meal again.

I dropped in at Cupboard Cafe while passing through on a road trip! I was solo so I sat at the bar! Ann was my waitress and she was amazing! All of the staff were SO KIND!! Other waitresses greeted and checked on me while I ate and they were like a breath of fresh air! They were busy and they were all running back and forth from table to table, the kitchen and the cash register! I had the pot roast which tasted just like I make it at home and it was WONDERFUL! There was one rude customer (of course there’s always that one). Ann handled the customer with such grace and continued to work her butt off because it was BUSY! Other customers praised her for her excellent service. Most of all, she was so kind. This place made my heart and stomach happy! I definitely recommend it!

The best place for that local, home cooked meal. The salad bar was so plentiful. I had the steak that night. The owners is a cattle rancher and they hand cut, select and grill them out back. It needed nothing, it was the best I’ve had!! Tons of sides to choose from and the desserts…all had made and delicious Ann was our server and she was such a joy! Makes everyone feel like she knows you. We were first timers visiting from Missouri and this will definitely be a place we return to every visit!!

Last Thursday (2/26), I found myself in town for one of the hardest reasons imaginable — I had to say goodbye to my little dog. It was a really emotional day. My son was with me, and we decided to go somewhere we’ve always considered one of the best restaurants in our area.
From the moment we sat down, our server Ann was incredible. She recommended the hand-cut ribeye, and I’m so glad she did. It was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and a very generous portion for the price.
What meant even more, though, was Ann’s kindness. She showed such genuine compassion after hearing about our day. That kind of service stays with you.
You can find food anywhere. But when you get truly great food and truly great service at the same time, that’s a win for any restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is so nice. The waitresses are so polite, the service is amazing, and the food was magnificent. I would recommend this place everyday. P.S. The salad bar is beautiful and there is a variety of stuff. And it is a good price me and my 3 other people are here for only like 80 bucks.

We are in town for work. We have eaten there 3-4 times, for breakfast, lunch and supper. The food is a welcome change from fast food and processed food from most restaurants nearby. There is a good variety on the menu with daily specials. The salad bar is very fresh and a good variety!
Tonight Emberlynn was our waitress. She was attentive and efficient! Our drink glasses were never empty and the food came out quick and hot. The entire waitstaff was smiling and walked with purpose and efficiency. This is becoming our go to restaurant because of the food quality, variety and the wonderful service!
