Disgusting, borderline inedible. I’ve eaten culvers in many different locations and never had issues like I have with this location. 20 damn dollars for a patty melt meal that was so greasy I could barely eat it. Why are they frying the bread in oil?!? Also, zero seasoning. I got the medium meal and had like 10 fries in it. Will never, ever eat here again. McDonald’s is light-years better than this garbage.

My recent visit drive-thru on March 21, 2026, at 6:32 PM. Unfortunately, when I arrived home and opened my order, I discovered that the burger was raw, and the cheese curds were cold. This was quite disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to a satisfying meal. I attempted to resolve this by calling the restaurant multiple times; however, my calls went unanswered.Out of frustration, I drove back to the location, where I spoke to the manager. While I appreciated her polite demeanor, I expressed my desire for a refund due to the poor quality of the food. She kindly refunded me $5.59 and apologized for the inconvenience.
I understand that the team is comprised mainly of teenagers who may be overwhelmed during busy times and commend them for giving them valuable job opportunities. However, it is crucial to ensure that food safety and quality remain a priority for the kitchen staff. I would prefer to wait longer for my meal than receive undercooked food.

Super disappointed with the service I got from the manager Maria today. We ordered food to go and when we got home took started eating my fries and there was a bug on my fries. Called them to notify the manager and she said I would need to take the fries in and they would make me a NEW One really… I am not going back out after picking up and order and almost finished eating!.
Customer service was horrible and I am disgusted!!! Not cool

I was Very disappointed in my time spent at Culver’s. All I ordered was one large cheese fry. not only was I given the wrong size french fry which I was unable to change because I had to return to work, but hannah in the drive-through had her back turned to me eating a ice cream cone literally in my face while I was sitting there waiting for my one singular cheese fry that was the wrong size. I’m not sure why there is employees eating in front of customers faces while they are starving and waiting for food, but I will not be returning back to this Culver’s.

This my 1st review of culver in Joliet. I was all ready to be all judgey but got to admit had a great experience. Went through drive thru for lunch. Line moved fast. Person took order was very polite and helpful. I was told to pull up and wait for order. Thinking it will be a while. Putting stuff away. A young lady appeared at my window with my order and a smile. I said wow that fast. I ordered the deluxe burger snack pack. With fries and drink. Bag was small but the burger bigger than expected. Taste was very good. Flavor of meat better than any McDonald’s I ever had. Fries crispy and fresh. I had lemonade. It was sweet but not too sweet. All in all totally worth it. I highly recommend. I was surprised myself. I’ve ordered custard from this place on multiple occasions, and it’s melted every single time I pick it up. On my most recent visit, I asked the employee to remake it and she insisted the custard was “fresh” and said it would refreeze if I put it in the freezer at home. I’ve never run a restaurant, but why make the custard first and let it sit out before the customer shows up? I may as well order milk next time.

Food was hot but there was a hair inside my fries. Chicken tenders were rubbery and poor quality. Front counter employee didn’t acknowledge my presence even when I said hi. Bathroom was the nastiest culvers bathroom I’ve ever seen.

I’m so tired of always getting something wrong or have to return because they forgot to give me my entire order!!!! Shorewood location has a bunch of kids that don’t know what customer service means. They are more worried about their makeup than anything else. This is what I got as a double Deluxe hamburger… no lettuce, no tomato, a little piece of onion, no Mayo, no mustard… TERRIBLE!! on top of that so expensive
