Pro tip, if you want to be smarter than us waiting in the dining room, go in the drive thru, get your food and take it inside and it’ll be about 30 minutes faster.
The food was good, though. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.
Floor was soaking wet and super slippery. I tried to walk as carefully as I could, but I still slipped and almost fell.
– Pretzel Haus Pub Burger: Not worth it. Since I am a big fan of pub burgers, I decided to try it. I’ve had many pub burgers and never had one taste like this. It was greasy and the cheese was runny. Overall, it was messy. It tasted like the grease was overly cook (though it was probably the intended flavor). Had a strong deep bitter flavor similar to worcestershire or flavored soy sauce. Maybe it was the pickled onions, but I didn’t care for it.
I have had their other butter burgers at other locations (Deluxe, Bacon, Regular, etc). Get those for sure!
– Service: Amazingly positive, helpful, and happy. Other locations I’ve been to were not as much. I will be coming back for their regular menu items for that reason.
– Atmosphere: Clean and thought out. Some locations have the fountain drinks in the middle, but theirs was on the outside wall and I think things flow better that way with the parking lot on the opposite side of the store (drinks being the last stop before sitting down).
Bathroom was clean and new, though the paper towel dispenser didn’t dispense very quickly.
Visited on a Monday at 4:00-4:20 PM.
The location is almost always clean even when they are busy and the food is always good. Our order has only been wrong once and they corrected the issue without any hassle.
A little pricey ($6.88 w/ tax) for a medium size chicken sandwich. $4.10 more if I wanted fries and a drink. Biggest challenge, however, was the wait. About 5-10 minutes to order and another 15-20 for food to come out.
Today however, did not improve that outlook. We had spent the day attending a funeral which was emotionally enough to bear.
After being out of the house and town for 12 hours we decided to get desert for us and our kids. Knowing that it is usually busy we chose to mobile 3 concrete mixers so as not to have a long wait. The app said they would be ready by 7:39 pm.
When we arrived at 7:30 and it was of course busy and the limited curb side pickup spots were full forcing us to park in an unmarked location. We sent the notification that we had arrived, and waited. When a curbside spot opened we moved to where we were supposed to be and continued to wait.
Finally, at 7:59 pm I walked in, approaching the counter and got the attention of an employee behind the counter. I explained the my wife had sent a mobile order that was supposed to be ready by 7:39 and we were still waiting. I gave him her name so he could check on the order. He turned to a shelf of prepared orders, reviewed some recipes finding our order of 3 concrete mixers just sitting there, already starting to melt. He removed them from the shelf and handed them to me with a “Here ya go”. No apology of explanation of why we were left waiting for 3 melting deserts.
Needless to say we are not pleased with how our order was handled or the nonchalant way were treated.
