We were greeted with friendliness by every one in the store, told about the rewards program, and given wonderful menu suggestions.
The food hit the spot. We were so hungry we didn’t stop to take photos.
The bathroom is well maintained.
My daughter loves the cheese curds and after a long day she asked for some. As we all know, everything nowadays is very expensive. Every little bit counts. With that being said, I placed an order for cheese curds and a few other things, picked it up, and headed home. Got home and what is the one thing missing? The cheese curds. My daughter was pretty bummed and after working all day and appointments after work, I was too tired to get back in my car, in the cold, and go back out to get these cheese curds. My kiddo was upset, but understanding.
I thought that if I gave them a call, they could refund just the missing item, nothing more, and we can call it day.
I spoke to the manager, Liberty, who informed me that the only way I could receive a refund was if I came back out tonight, and tonight only. I was surprised and said, can I not just do this on my way home from work tomorrow? Nope, our policy is only same day. You can pickup some coupons, but nope, not the money you spent on items you did not receive. Make it make sense.
I pressed her and asked why, and I expressed that it was odd that a huge company could not refund my $5 the next day? After all, I have the receipt, it has an order number, and I only want refunded for the missing item. She was adamant that if I wanted my money, I would have to come tonight, right now. She said it would get too confusing for the company to process returns the next day – well, how many missing items do you have that it would be confusing? That sounds like a much bigger issue. Her/Culver’s policy seems cruel and like I’m being punished for being upset that her employees forgot my daughter’s food.
I hope to speak with the General Manager on Thursday (the next day they are in per the manager I spoke with) and I hope that her manager, Liberty, was confused regarding the policy because otherwise, shame on Culver’s for punishing customers when their employees mess up.
I get it, mistakes happen, but make it right when they do happen. Coupons does not make it right, receiving my money back for the missing item does.
I will update this once I speak with the GM.
Do better culvers.
I asked for a cleaning cloth and a line team member came to the dining room to clean tables.
Even after she swept under the table, there was a French fry packet and other debris.
She was the only team member working in the dining room during the visit
