Tried Culver’s for the first time and it was a pretty average experience overall. The place has a classic burger‑spot feel, and the staff was friendly when I walked in, which made a good first impression. The restaurant looked clean and the service moved at a steady pace.

I ordered a burger and fries, and while everything was cooked correctly, the flavor didn’t really stand out. The burger was decent but a little on the plain side, and the fries were good but nothing memorable. It definitely hit the spot, just not in a way that made me think “I have to come back for this.”

The prices were fair for what you get, and the portion sizes were solid. It’s the kind of place that works when you’re craving something quick and simple, but it didn’t quite reach that “wow” factor for me

This was our first time visiting Culver’s, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The guy at the front, the cashier, was polite and helpful, which made a great first impression. The food was taste, we enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich, and the classic Culver’s burger.

Unfortunately, the dessert experience didn’t live up to the same standard. My ice cream with Oreos came in a kids-size portion and felt more like a cup of crushed cookies with a tiny scoop of ice cream. Another order, which was supposed to be a simple vanilla sundae with caramel drizzle and a cherry, was overly drenched in caramel and messy. The milkshake was also off and didn’t match what was ordered.

While we did enjoy the time spent together as a family, the sweet treats left us disappointed. Hopefully next time the dessert experience will match the quality of the food and service.

This was our second visit to this location. The food really isn’t very good… You can get better quality and lower prices from local restaurants.

Add to that, the fact that they have now not been able to get an order right on the two visits… Then take forever to correct it… And lastly, but not their fault, another customer steps on a mustard package and my coat is covered in mustard. Their response, ohhh… Well here’s a couple of napkins. Not their fault…. but a rather lousy response.

Food and service were excellent. I appreciate the staff cleaning and keeping a clean location, but mopping the entire floor at 12pm is strange. I almost fell 3 times walking near the restroom and drink machine due to the soaking wet floor…

Please explain to me why it takes over 30 minutes to get a burger and fries. Can someone make that make sense? This is absolutely ridiculous. Are you grinding the meat to order? Like, why does it take so long? You are a fast-food restaurant, and yet there is nothing fast about this place. So sad, definitely my last time. At this pace, we could have just left Steak ‘n Shake here. I want to find something positive to say; however, even after waiting over 30 minutes, the burger was lukewarm at best. It was tasty, just not hot, considering the wait. Just don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

This was my first visit to a Culver’s. I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed it! The shakes were wonderful and some of the best I’ve had. The fillings were great and the ice cream tasted thick and creamy. The butter burger was delicious. I’d happily go back for another one. However, the fries are pretty weak. They’re a little bland and not memorable. The service was also a little weak. The food took a while to get out and I saw multiple tables going back to get items they didn’t have. So it’s good food that needs some service tweaks.

Culver’s is a great restaurant, this location is not.
Several times me and my coworkers have ordered food online. The website provides you an estimated time the food, and I typically plan to be there 10-15 after, so I don’t have to sit and wait.
Almost every time I arrive, the food is not ready, sometimes even standing around for 20 more minutes, coming out to 30-40 minutes to make 4 meals.
This occasion was especially offensive. I got there ~30 minutes after ordering, still had to wait for them to finish, then when I get back to work find out one of my drinks is almost empty.
I never have these problems at any other Culver’s, and frequently eat at the Ladson and Summerville locations. NEVER CHOOSE THIS LOCATION OVER THE OTHERS.

Love Culver’s, but either do drive through or eat in. DON’T order ahead and sit in the designated spot. You’ll be there forever! Done it twice & both times I had to go in to get my food after 40 minutes.

I was really looking forward to trying Culver’s in North Charleston, but my visit was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness and quality were not a priority at this location.

First, the tables and seating area were filthy. I found crinkle-cut fries stuffed between the seat cushion and the back of the booth, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It makes you wonder what else isn’t being properly maintained.

Then, my burger arrived, and I couldn’t believe how burnt it was. There were holes in the patty from not using enough meat. The patty was overcooked to the point of being nearly inedible, with a dry, charred texture. This wasn’t just a slight overcook—it was completely unacceptable. If this is what they consider good food, I won’t be coming back.

Then we waited twelve minutes to get a kids custard after we ate what we could. We couldn’t wait any longer and gave up on the custard.

Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness and badly prepared food made for a really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Hopefully, management takes these issues seriously and improves both the food quality and cleanliness standards.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY!! For those of you who think that you just caught them on a bad day, it’s EVERYDAY with them. Over several months and several visits, about 90% of the time, there is a problem with my order. 20 minutes in the drive-through, employees who seem to be confused over the slightest things, untrained, wrong orders, missing items, people behind me getting their orders first, etc. I have spoken to the owner, who tried explaining the situation and said she was trying to improve the store. But months later, there is still no sign of improvement. On the last visit, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It looked nothing like the picture or any grilled chicken sandwich I have ever seen. Looks like they started to cut it into cubes for a salad or something. This place needs to just go ahead and close its doors like the Steak ‘n’ Shake, which was on the same spot. Current management and ownership seem unwilling or unable to fix what is wrong.
