Loved the customer service, top tier. The staff was very informative about the menu and genuinely fun to interact with. It’s such a relaxed, “let go and enjoy the moment” kind of place.
The cheeseburger was really good, and my husband ordered the OG chicken sandwich, which he absolutely loved. We also tried something new: their version of chips and queso. I had never had pimento cheese with chips before, but it was actually really good.
My husband also got the Big Red Vacay, which he enjoyed, though it wasn’t my favorite. That said, the rest of the drink menu sounds great, so we’ll definitely be back to try more!

The food was good. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich. It was fresh with with some unique flavors that I really like. The sandwich was not boring at all like some other places. The chicken breast also had more meat than breading which was a plus. I almost forgot. The fries were outstanding and definitely some of my favorite around here.
The staff was amazing. We talked for quite a while and she gave me a breakdown of the history of the place. I was also offered a complimentary wing during my visit. The wing I had was so good. It was like the flavors were i fused into the wing vs just being sprinkled on top.
The place is super chill and the music was hittin.

This is my cheat meal every week. I have been all around the world in hunt of the best crispy chicken sandwich (seriously…eight countries this year alone tryna find one) and THIS right here is the best I have ever tasted.
The staff are so friendly and sweet, and the food is amazingly priced. Can definitely see they care about every meal they make and you can taste the difference for sure.

Cool little spot in a nice neighborhood! We walked in and were greeted right away, we were shown the beer list and gave our order. It was a tad pricey, but things are in that area.
We found a nice seat outside that faced the street, the sun was shining and the music bumping!
A few minutes later, we received our deviled eggs. First, we noticed that they had sprinkles!! The eggs were great and unique to me taste like cream cheese but still great!
A few moments later, the rest of our food arrives! The Nashville Hot Chicken was amazing, spicy, crunchy, juicy, just fabulous! The green Gawd is crunchy and juicy with a bright sauce! The salt and pepper fries seemed like they were battered but so so good crunchy and pillowy inside and seasoned perfectly! Later but not least was the chicken bologna sandwich. Nice presentation, but a little lacking to me, but my wife loved it!

My wife and I cane here for a late dinner while on our trip to San Antonio. The chicken sandwich was fire!! The fries hit! Wings were flavored. The people inside were super friendly.

Absolutely fantastic food, worth every penny. We have been meeting to try out Attagirl for a while, and feel stupid for waiting so long! We had a cheeseburger – juicy, cheesey, grilled-oniony! – it was delicious! We also tried the fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely get the Girl Thyme fries, they are a stand out even among so many delicious offerings. All in all, this place is fantastic and definitely worth your time.

I absolutely loved this place. Had 2 beers both delicious, 3 different wings, the deviled eggs, the wedge salad and the banana pudding. For me the stars of the show were the pudding, the people and the southern style wing in that order. Great place with a great vibe and outstanding food. I recommend it!

My first but definitely not the last time here. I asked for my chicken fried hard and it was exactly the way I liked it. The SA and the honey hot with the wedge salad and a side of Gucci ranch will be my go to cheat day meal from now on!

Had heard good things about this spot and definitely hit the spot – will be bringing friends back. The chicken was well spiced and the egg was a nice add to a classic chicken sandwich. The fries were spectacular. Good value for money.

Attagirl is a bit rough around the edges. The small interior space is dimly lit, and mostly counter and kitchen. The seating available inside is stool only and sparse. The majority of the seating is outside and street adjacent. This set-up can be challenging in the South Texas heat.
The food leans into a Southern comfort vibe. Unfortunately, the kitchen struggled with timing, and our party of four received our plates at four different times. The fried chicken was seasoned well, but slightly over fried.
Service was friendly, warm and helpful… embracing the Southern vibe.
Note: Attagirl is in the Saint Mary’s district, and next to residential housing. As a result, the restaurant has acquired a colony of cats the staff provides water for and customers feed. It was nerve wracking to watch the cats and kittens sprint between cars, and across the street. If this is a trigger for you, I recommend avoiding Attagirl. Cheers!
