The food was great! While the DJ was “considerate” at my request to lower the volume, audio engineering, is obviously not their forte.
They have a sign that states not to dance in the dining area, yet the sound still reaches there. There was a child who covered her own ears and yet, the volume was still not lowered. Look, I get it, music is part of the culture but so is family and I prioritize hearing my loved one’s voice over the damn music. My suggestion? Save your coin and replace the DJ with a cheap boombox: the charisma and sound would still remain the same.
I would only recommend ordering take-out at this point.

Came here to watch the Bears game. It was definitely a vibe. They really treated you like you were an important person here they gave us free shots if you’d like to have fun and like to watch any sports game, this is definitely the bar go to I love the music that they played Spanish music. They even hired a Banda I had was a fun time

This place is a must! The food is always fresh and full of flavor you can taste the quality in every bite. The ceviche and shrimp cocktails are my favorites, and the micheladas are perfect. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere gives you that real coastal vibe. highly recommend!

I ordered through uber eats on 10/23. I went to the restaurant to pick up my food and they said their kitchen closes at 9:30pm so they were not going to make my food. I said fine. I left but I was still charged for the food because they restaurant clicked that they were preparing my food and I canceled this order. I contacted uber eats but they told me they couldn’t refund my money because they restaurant clicked that they were preparing my food. Why would they click they were making this food if they were not planning to make it? They were rude when they told me we are not making this good kitchen is closed. Why they don’t adjust their hours on uber eats to reflect their kitchen is closed? Why they didn’t cancel this order on their end so I could get my money back.?

First and foremost, beware loud music!!! The food was alright but hella pricey. And you really have to yell into your server’s ear to get an order through. The music wasn’t bad but they need to work on acoustics of the space, it’s not the right set up for outdoor music volumes. They need some sound dampeners, tuba silencers, etc. You can’t carry a conversation at all. My husband and I were just texting each other. We ended up having our food boxed up and leaving. It would help if they offered ear plugs at the door as well. I can’t imagine working there long term without suffering some kind of hearing loss. Definitely bring a date you’re not interested in talking to, great atmosphere for that.

The food here is delicious and creative! The tacos were great and the drink was delicious. We loved the idea of sushi rolls at a Mexican restaurant. The live music was also nice! We couldn’t really hear other over the music so it was hard to enjoy my family. That’s my only complain. Def coming back!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. I must admit all the food on the menu made my mouth water. This type of seafood is my favorite. The drinks were good also. The only thing was the music was too much for my liking. Definitely will be back though.

I love Mexican style seafood but the menu was strange. They had sushi, ceviches, and some fried fish options. The music was so loud you couldn’t talk to anyone at your table. The music people were at our table every 5 minutes looking for you to pay them $25 for each song they sang…not in a hurry back.

Good food and service. Livelu atmosphere. Expect a live band if you go later in the day. I recommend trying the sushis.
