Culaccino Bar & Kitchen – Indulge in Authentic Italian Flavors
Reviews
The highlight for me was the semifreddo dessert…absolutely amazing and easily the best part of the night.
Overall, disappointing first experience.
We arrived at 18:30, for a Saturday night it was maybe half full. Will not go again or recommend.
Myself and 2 friends. Started at the bar and had an amaretto sour as recommended by Eddie our bartender. Yummy!
Fabulous service atmosphere and food.
It felt alive in there and everyone seemed happy.
Will definitely be back!
Thank you to our server Brooke .
Such a sweetheart and very attentive.
Best cappuccino too.
Wow
A nice night all around. Hoping to visit the restaurant again in a normal setting in the new year!
The drink selection is impressive, offering a variety of options that complement the menu beautifully. I would definitely come back, although it is on the pricier side. Overall, Culaccino Bar & Kitchen is a fantastic place to unwind and indulge in great food and drinks!
Upon entering restaurant it smelled bad – our guess was the fried brussel sprouts on menu that we later also got.
Restaurant is terribly loud, the space is round with tall vaulted ceilings and it’s not by any means a quite, serene place to visit if that’s what you’re looking for.
Our party of 4 were seated in a large table in a quieter area however due to the fact that it was a large table we were moved to main (louder area)
Drinks – lots of beer choices, our party tried about 5 or 6 as well as limoncello spritz all were good.
Appetizers- fried brussel sprouts, which were great. Calamari was fresh and decent size but had no flavour, no salt and the aioli that came with it was also disappointing. Margarita pizza was good, great crust, served hot.
Mains – I want to note that it took over 30 min to get our main meals. 2 of us ordered the pomodoro gnocchi, which was absolutely delicious however very small portion. Orecchiete with rapini and sausage which was pretty spicy and the rapini was scarce. We also ordered short beef rib served over polenta, tender, flavourful, rich and the polenta was creamy and well flavoured.
We finished off the meal with a panzanella salad which was beautiful however sadly bland.
Tiramisu dessert was great, tasteful, creamy and just enough sweetness. Everything you’d want from this classic.
Overall – this restaurant uses fresh, wholesome ingredients, we found the flavour was lacking, specifically maybe a good finishing salt?
Service, it was fine, she checked in on us, made sure we had everything, however also a little bland.
Lastly we told the young man who seated us that we were celebrating a birthday but nothing was ever acknowledged about this.
I think we are being generous with 3/5 stars. We will not visit this restaurant again.
Fantastic food, all of it was tasty. Great service and ambiance.
Highly recommend.
Pasts was delicious/ Gnocci especially.
The cauliflower was very flavorful but it was bit too oily and heavy for our taste. The fried chicken platter was so crispy and juicy! Both came in a generous serving size.
Service was amazing, great atmosphere and they have an extensive beer list. All in all we had a great dining experience would love to come again!
Steak with rapini was juicy and well seasoned and the carbonara was so creamy. The tiramisu topped it off as a perfect dessert to share
