Sad to say but this restaurant has truly gone downhill. I use to really enjoy eating here. I recommended this restaurant to friends. I even came with friends and family. The last several times seems like the food isn’t as good. Today the melted cheese tasted watered down. The servers have began rushing people to order. Then once orders placed the server never checks back. I would like to think that its just a few bad experiences for me but ive heard this from other people. I hope the owners fix this problem soon.

I highly recommend this little hidden treasure. I had the Mexican Pizza, it was delicious, my picture doesn’t do the taste justice (I had a few bites before taking the picture). Our waiter was polite, and the time to receive our order was quick, and hot(temperature wise), my friend’s Faita you could hear it sizzling from 20′ away. The salsa and guacamole all tasted fresh.

I got quesabirria tacos on a Monday, server told me it was weekend only but they could still do it today; made me a little worried right away. Salsa tasted mostly like old cilantro. Tacos seemed reheated because the corn tortillas were floppy and soft and the beef had that “game-y” flavor. I asked if they were microwaved and the staff were kind enough to remake them for me, but it still wasn’t great. Other than that, I wish the tomatillo salsa was spicier. The service gets 5 stars but I can’t recommend the quesabirria tacos, at least not on a Monday.

Saw this restaurant on fb and drove 40 minutes to get there. I had the Cuervos Nachos. Pastor, chorizo, beans and lettuce, Pico. Not much flavor. I love pastor and chorizo. We did have chorizo queso and it was really good. Service was great. Others in my party had chimichanga, chicken fajita taco salad. Not much flavor. The lack of flavor is not worth the drive.

The food is normally very good here but this time it was different.
When you walk in they have a open kitchen concept and it was extremely hot in there. So not sure if the cooks were having a off day or what but the food wasn’t as good as usual. I ended up with a tummy ache and not feeling well. But I’ll give it sometime to see if they get it back to normal because it really had to have been a off day for them.

First time there was not spectacular. They rushed us to order when no one was in the restaurant. Then ignored us when we needed drinks and to order something else. It was hot and the floor was slippery. They got busy and we only got ignored more. My friend said it was her favorite place in Portland.
