I realize most people like this restaurant, so take my review with a grain of salt, maybe my experience is rare.
First time I went, bought a Cuban, little expensive but it was delicious.
Second time I went with a friend after talking them up on how great this place was. Bought our sandwiches, waited half an hour for them to be prepared, took them to go. I can’t say how disappointed and embarrassed I was after hyping them up so much. The Cubans only had a couple slices of ham and a tiny amount of lettuce. No mustard, no salami, no pickles. Couldn’t believe we paid for two full Cubans and waited that long. I didn’t even go back to complain bc I didn’t want to wait again.
Maybe they got our orders confused with someone else’s, but I just can’t justify paying that much and not being able to trust I got what I paid and waited for. At least it was good the first time.

This restaurant is not just a restaurant. It is a home away from home. It is so special. The staff is so kind. The food here is absolutely amazing. You will not find a better cuban sandwich than this. It is the absolute best. When you step into this cozy restaurant, you will not only leave with a happy stomach but a happy heart as well. ❤️

As a first generation American of Cuban parents, growing up with Cuban food was my upbringing. Cuco’s Sandwich Shop brought back the nostalgia and all the best flavors that Cuban food has to offer.
I had an original Cuban with maduros and croquetas on the side. I washed it all down with my childhood favorite soda, Materva.
I recommend anyone who enjoys Cubano food or is interested in trying it to visit Cuco’s Sandwich Shop. The family behind the counter are very knowledge, welcoming, and can assist you any needs!

Wow… what a great sandwich! Just like I had as a kid in Miami! Delicious.
So glad I found Cuco’s a family run sandwich shop, good selection of sides, I stopped in on Saturday and the line was out the door and for good reason. I will definitely be back.
The guy taking the orders name is Xavier and his family has been running Cucos for 30 years
It was great, give it a try!

Hidden gem of a Cuban sandwich shop. We haven’t dug too deep into the menu because the mainstays are so solid — like the Cuban and the media noche. They have a soda fountain with coke products, but also have several cans of soda that must be Cuban, along with some basic Cuban grocery items. Always a fun stop when they are open when we’re in the area!

Awesome spot. This is the closest you will get to authentic. Loved my Cuban sandwich and tostones on a rainy afternoon for lunch. Thank you for operating a great spot.

I lived in Orlando, FL for over 20 years and one of the biggest things I miss about home is the amazing selection of Cuban restaurants FL has to offer. If you are searching for the best Cuban sandwich in all of DFW look no further. This is just as good as what I would get in FL if not better. The owners and staff are hard working and super friendly. The spot is never too crowded and the food is always made fresh to order. I can’t wait to try more items on the menu. This is my new favorite lunch spot!!

I’m a sucker for a great pressed Cuban sandwich and Cuco’s in North Richland Hills is where I get my fix. Throw some maduros (fried plantain) next to it and you have lunch perfection.

Amazing Cuban sandwiches and bread pudding. The bread pudding did have raisins in it, which isn’t exactly my favorite, but was wonderful none the less. The gentleman who took my order was delightful. Has a small (maybe 8-10 table) eat-in area. Great place.
