Social Profile:

Cucinella’s is a family and community oriented, brick oven style pizzeria. Our family began making pizza in Rochester, NY in 1932. Veltre Bakery was a neighborhood staple known for its hand crafted pizzas and baked goods. Today Cucinella’s continues that family tradition in Blue Ridge by using original recipes and techniques that have been perfected over decades. We believe you’ll taste the difference.

Spending the weekend in Blue Ridge. Was looking forward to a good NY style pizza in our room on a Friday night. Major disappointment. We ordered a Margarita pizza and it looked good when we opened the box but it was a floppy mess. Too bad, with a little attention to detail, if it was cooked a few minutes longer it would have been good, since the flavor was good. But it was so raw, doughy and unable to fold, just did not do their NY history justice. Wanted to love it but a little quality control on their Friday night shift is in order.

The food is absolutely amazing!! I ordered the 18″ calzone, my wife ordered the 12″ cheese loaded with veggies. I had enough for two more meals. Customer service is top tier!!

Was on vacation in Blue Ridge area (visiting from North Florida), and did much sightseeing in some smaller towns on outskirts of Blue Ridge, and I believe Saturday (12-07-2024), my girlfriend and I had gone into downtown Blue Ridge, did much walking from different local shops and decided to get something to eat for dinner. She had been to Blue Ridge once before, my first time visiting. We decided to try Cucinellas Pizzeria… Thankfully did not park to far from restaurants, because area was busy due to Christmas time as well as nice weather… Though the establishment seemed small on inside, it was very open and welcoming, and everything was clean and easy to find / well supplied with napkins and eating utensils. The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about products. We decided to dine in, and did not wait very long (perhaps 20 minutes from ordering a custom pizza). It may have been one of the best pizzas i have had in quite awhile! I certainly am glad we tried it, and I am about trying new places besides big name restaurants. Thank you all for wonderful service and outstanding food / pizza! I very much look forward to visiting Blue Ridge Georgia again sometime!

Good location, fast service, and simple/down to earth pizza. We stopped in on a whim and we’re glad we did. They were offering BOGO on pizza slices on a Saturday afternoon, so we figured we’d try it. The pizza was very simple, but good. The crust was the perfect chewiness, and we definitely appreciate a nice crust. We ate what was ready and available, so we cannot attest to whether or not other specialty pizzas were good and the quickness of service for made to order pizzas. However, we enjoyed our experience and would return.

Absolutely loved this pizza !! and the Rolls Fire we didnt dine in we picked up and we are so happy we got it !! nice hot cheese pie after the train ride.. Took longer than they told us but it was understandable since it was packed out thee all over. One thing my hubby noticed the pizza maker was constantly firing pizzas working hard and most importantly cleaning the oven all the time and to us Pizza Lovers it very important.. Last thing you want is a dirty oven!!! makes your pizza taste horrible undercarraige…. We parked in the garage and and leaves you right there to the restaurant.. Next time we are dining in , You can smell the goodness outside

Visited today, and before we placed an order the man behind the counter asked if 35 min was okay (they were a bit busy, but that was fine with us). After 40min we asked for an update, and were told “just a few more minutes.” After nearly 50 min we asked for another update and were told it’ll be another 35-45 min, maybe an hour as they h don’t even begin to make our order. Meanwhile, others who ordered after us had already received their pizzas. The employee stated “I told you it would be an hour” to which we replied that he did not, he said 35 min otherwise we would have eaten elsewhere. At this, he got an attitude and was very disrespectful to my husband and MIL. We ended up getting a refund and leaving (as my toddler was beyond hungry at that point and we could not wait another hour potentially). Overall, I had been looking forward to this pizza for days as I had selected the restraint before our visit, but the service was deplorable and I would steer any away from the establishment in the future.

What an experience! Went there on Sunday not knowing their were closed. ( you deserve a day off). Best NY pizza south of Brooklyn. Staff is friendly, and full of hospitality.

Dreamy! Gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Best I ever had. I have eaten here many times now. Perfect for food allergies. My friends loved their more traditional pizzas too. Cannot wait to come back during our next stay at The Bear’s Creek Retreat.

The entire experience was horrible. We ordered at 5:45 on a Sunday evening and were quoted a 45 minute wait time for carryout. After asking several times, we finally got the pizzas at 6:53. I ordered chicken and onions. This pizza was terrible. One slice had one piece of chicken and another slice had none. The pizza (a 12″) was soggy in the middle and the outer crust was not crispy, but oddly chewy. The sauce was almost non-existent. This was a disgustingly dry, chewy, and bland “pizza”. The pizza at my local Casey’s gas station is better than this. I cannot fathom how this place has such a high rating. I would most definitely give it a ZERO star rating, if I could. The pizza, service, and atmosphere were all substandard.

Pizzas and garlic knots are wonderful. Great tasting dough and pizza sauce. There were six of us including a 5 and 7 year old. The shop has a game corner (you take the games to your table) that kept us all busy while waiting for our pizzas. Awesome dining room experience. You can buy their pizza dough. I will be doing that for Christmas!
