Overpriced Italian food
Food is way overpriced for wheat, eggs, oil and water…. Or potatoes for gnocchi. The sauces were also meh, I can make better at home.
Portions are teeny, you’d think for the price they would at least give you some more especially because pasta is so cheap to purchase. Taste wasn’t all there for the price. My veal tasted and had the consistency of breakfast sausage patties.
All the protein comes separately so you have to order two $45 plates to even get somewhat of a decent meal.
Our server neglected us and the food took forever to come out, even dessert took 10 minutes from order to table. She forgot my drink and they had the wrong menus out, we were told they had switched to the winter menus and then they didn’t give us the right menus again.
Atmosphere is meh, generic decor, candles on the table, etc. music was good though.
Highlight was definitely the tiramisu, not the best I’ve had but not the worst.
Parking is awful and paid street parking.

We had a wonderful double birthday dinner with my in-laws in December. Our server was excellent, very attentive, have great suggestions, and was funny and polite. The food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time.

We tried the new lunch space associated with Cucina Toscana. It’s open air, but still manages to be cool despite the summer heat and pizza oven! The pizza was excellent and so was the salad. I wish they had more options! And the parking situation is still in flux but it looks like they have some designated spots coming soon.

Really solid restaurant in Salt Lake City. I like the interior decor, not too overwhelming, with good taste. Plenty of space with windows all around it. The old gas distributor and the three piggies out in front give it an interesting touch. The service is nice and pleasant to interact with. Food is really good. I just wish the salads were a bit bigger 🙂 overall, great spot if you have a taste for a good italian food.

Five stars and beyond! From the moment you walk through the doors, your experience begins. The ambiance is beautiful, and each space and table has an intimate feel. Each dish was a flood for the senses, giving new experiences with each dish. My husband and I have dined here previously and can appreciate changes in the new ownership and attention to each detail presented to us while dining.
We recommend Cucina Toscana to anyone who visits Utah and have never heard anyone not rave about them afterward.
Our server Molly was an absolute delight and added touches to make our Anniversary dinner intimate and special.
This is a must dine experience for all while in the downtown area. You will not be disappointed.
We are already looking forward to our future visits!

Really was blown away with how good this was for a lunch spot! The Feig pizza, and the steak sandwich were so much better than average. Absolutely worth a stop.

Once a classic but avoid at all costs now. Nothing but fond memories of this place when we lived here. Having your drink served 47 minutes after you sit down for a restaurant with this type of pricing is unacceptable. Offering a desert menu and then taking the orders to find out your freezer is broken and most of the desserts ordered were unavailable is unacceptable. The food was good to average. Not great like it used to be. Having a basic Caesar salad compared to one made at your table is unacceptable. It’s sad that this is a shadow of a once great restaurant. What isn’t a shadow is the pricing. Plenty of much better places to hit next time you’re in Salt Lake.

The quality of the food is unbelievable, the staff are very helpful and kind, and the restaurant is pretty. It is a little pricey, but worth it. The servers make excellent recommendations, and you won’t be disappointed. The serving is so professional, and they are always making sure your table is clean.

My employer hosted our work Christmas party here. It was a great experience. The food is incredible. There were several things on the menu that sounded so good it was actually hard to decide on what to order. Edgar was our server and he did a great job, especially considering we were a big group. I will be back for sure.

I only came here since i saw it on an episode of the real housewives of salt lake city. I highly recommend getting the eggplant parm appetizer it was fresh delicious and flavorful. The beef tenderloin special was fantastic as well. The pistachio gelato was great and last but not least was the chocolate martini. Total bill for one person was $101.14. With 20% suggested tip $20 bucks extra. A bit steep but my waiter jackson was very attentive, helpful and knowledgable about the menu. No wait and seated right away and made a reservation like 2 seconds before arrival.
