Didn’t have reservations but was seated right away. The Cesar salad was delicious and lightly grilled giving it a unique flavor. Salmon was on point and grilled to perfection. Will be back.

We had an amazing dinner at Cucina South! Nikki and Lou (Chef) were a great team. We started with Scallops and Shrimp Bruschetta which were both very fresh and had beautiful presentations. Dinner was the best we have had in years. The Beef Braciole was melt in your mouth delicious. My friend raved about the Shrimp Alfredo with Cremini mushrooms and spinach! My husband enjoyed the Porchetta special of the night which was paired with Brussel Sprouts that were so good! The Chef, Owner and Manager all greeted our table and gave a warm humble welcome. We have already recommended Cucina South and will be back for sure if we make our way to Amelia Island again!

Perfect cute breathtaking porch setting, surrounded by large oak trees, with nice choices of Italian dishes cooked to perfection. We had the delicious Eggplant and meatball entrees, pared with excellent wine choices, a nicely crafted cesar salad and a decadent moist lemonchello cake! Easily top 5 favorite pasta dinners I can ever remember. Amazing deliciousness. I had the pasta carbonara and my wife had the scallops and we were both in heaven the whole time. Run do not walk here for dinner. No seriously run because they use a lot of butter 😉

food is delicious, the help was excellent-but the portions of what I ordered was too small. I ordered the pasta with all kinds seafood in broth. Absolutely delicious, but not nearly enough pasta and so I kept getting bread. Bread was a heated ciabatta roll torn up into four small pieces…also tasty but skimpy, so you had to keep asking for more bread. For $30 an entree each-we left hungry. It would be so inexpensive for them to add in more pasta…and put out more bread….I hope they do.

First time here, not my last. Food was very good, Ellie our server was the best we have had since we moved to Fernandina Beach in December. The recommendations by her , Beef Brachiole and Spaghetti and Clams were excellent. Cannot wait to go back for the Eggplant Parmigiana.

What I learned, don’t go to an Italian place and order a steak. A ribeye was on the menu but not available, a New York strip was substituted. I ordered it done to medium. It was served more well done and had a lot of fat and gristle. Stick with pasta and maybe fish. My wife said her order was delicious. My wife is also the one who told me I should get a steak.

Well done Italian, great server and a quality food makes me write this post. Our young server from main was very attentive and sensitive to ny daughters gluten allergies. Decanting our wine was a nice touch.
