This visit was long overdue. Last time we were there was a work Christmas luncheon in the bitter snowy cold several years back. Tonight was a laid back dinner in a private little room! Romantic. Next time we will definitely bring a bottle of wine.

Me and my husband was looking for somewhere new to eat for our anniversary dinner and Cucuna Carini more than hit the spot. Melissa was our server and she was walking in the door with us as we arrived. She went right to work and got our warm bread and even gave good suggestions for our meals. I even got dessert and she put “Happy Anniversary “ on the dessert plate for us. We will be traveling to New Jersey again to enjoy other meals at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the serving sizes was more than we expected. I recommend you make your reservation and go enjoy the atmosphere, service, food and relaxing music.

My friend and I came to lunch here. It’s beautiful atmosphere, quiet and private. Beautiful decor. The food was excellent. I ordered the tortellini alla panna, and my friend ordered the crab ravioli. Come out to support this local restaurant.

The sauces (or gravy) on the pasta is great. The veal was so tender you didnt need a knife to cut it; was like it melted in your mouth. The staff is friendly and attentive. BYOB though I’m not a drinker I did notice most tables had brought wine for dinner.

My first time here had mixed results. My waitress, Alyssa was OUTSTANDING! Sweet, funny, efficient and always checking on me. I asked her opinion on what to order and she suggested the crab ravioli which was amazing. My only issue was there was no bread at the table. Alyssa told me they were making more and came back 4 or 5 times to update me that it would be coming soon. It never arrived. One of the reasons I go for Italian food is my love of bread. Other than that it was a perfect meal but the lack of bread tainted my experience.

My sister took me there for my birthday on Saturday the 1st and we were the only ones there and we sat outside. We were very disappointed that the only pasta that comes with the meal is spaghetti and if you want a different kind, you have to pay $1.00 more. I hate spaghetti, but we both opt out to pay the extra charge. On top of that, the quantity was very disappointing. For the price you pay at lunch, the portions were small. I had the marsala and had 1 small very thin slice of chicken and a small portion of spaghetti. My sister had the seafood allalise and she said the size was disappointed as well. I can just imagine what the price would be for dinner and if you offer the same portion, it’s definitely not worth it. I only came he because I love outdoor seating and its very hard to find good reasonable places to go. I was going to come back for dinner because my neighbor wants to take me out for my birthday, but I will not come back. I’ll find another place to sit outside.

First time here! Cute spot for date night, friendly service, and great food! The bread was fresh and the dressing on the house salad was really good. The mussels and crab ravioli were delicious! My husband and I didn’t realize this place was BYOB – we’ll come prepared next time! Can’t wait to try more items off the menu!
