Found this gem by chance and I am happy I did! The fried pork, plantains, and peas and rice were remarkable. I also had a Cuban coffee. I recommend getting a side of the cilantro sauce and hot sauce. The portions are huge. The lovely waitress said it was her first day, but she was excellent.

Wonderful food and great service! The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful with our large group. They take call ahead seating, too! Could not recommend the large servings and clean facilities enough for the Roanoke area.

Had a great quick meal in Roanoke. I’m from Miami originally and it’s hard to find authentic Cuban food, but this place definitely has it! Get the ropa vieja, you won’t regret it.

Ropa vieja and Cuban sandwiches were incredibly tasty. Bread tastes so fresh. The cafe con leche was perfect. Papas rellanas also delicious. Beautiful plants and very kind family business. Go to this place asap.

Family-centered. Explain menu options well. Very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely decor. Bottled drinks and ice given in cups also. Priced nice. Give it a try. Totally recommend. 5 stars all day!

Wish I could give zero stars. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was loaded with American cheese, a few pieces of ham, no roasted pork absolutely disgusting! The food here in Roanoke is generally disgusting 9 out of 10 times! It seems like the people here just don’t know any better I can’t see any other reason for them to have as many starts as they do.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Roanoke! Jose served me and my family with a warm welcome. The food was amazing, service prompt, and environment festive and fun. Will definitely go back. Five stars all around!

The food is incredible and service is even better!! Jose and his sister, Ana, run the restaurant, and are honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met.
I recommend the fried chicken with rice and beans and plantains. Also, the empanadas and potato balls are by far the best. The sauces were amazing as well, the spicy sauce is extremely spicy, but so worth it. Everything is so fresh! Have to try it!

We ordered paramillo steak was tasty we give it 4 out of 5, empanada was delicious i liked the dough so much, the cuban sandwich was actually a big sandwich but a bit pricey for a ham and cheese sandwich. My favorite was tres leche pina coco yum yum.

The food here is always fantastic. Lots to choose from and the home made salsa can kick up the level if you want. The deserts here are really good as well. Usually have to get them to go as the portions are large and the cakes too good to pass up. The service is as good as the food! One of my favorite all the restaurants.
