I’ve been coming to this Cuban bakery for over 10 years, and the quality has always been excellent. It’s a cozy spot where you can catch up with friends or meet new people. Sara and Rita are always friendly and easy to talk to. My favorites are the guava cheese pastry, Cuban sandwich, media noche, colada, and cortadito — all absolutely delicious!

The sisters are awesome. They remember my name even when I haven’t been in often. Food is always amazing and made fresh. Coffee is also delicious. The only place I’ll drink real dairy in my coffee. Guava and cheese pastry is my favorite. Can’t get enough.

I am Cuban-American, and I was looking for a place that served Cuban food in DFW. The closest I could find was the Cuban Dulceria International Bakery. I am in Fort Worth so it was close to an hour drive. We decided to go for brunch on Valentine’s Day. The place was nicely decorated and gave me the Cuban aesthetic I was looking for. In fact, I have a YouTube channel and was making a video about my experience. We were seated and we started off with a coffee, three croquetas, three pieces of bread and three sodas. The total was $42. It felt a little off, but it’s okay. Maybe I miscalculated in my head. Something didn’t feel right so I did what I never want to do while I’m eating somewhere, and that’s pull out a calculator and make sure everything was correct. Come to find out the prices on my receipt were not matching the prices on the menu. All the items seem to be off by a little bit. I very kindly asked our server, howcome the prices on my receipt do not match the prices on the menu? And she said that she knows that they don’t match because the menu that she gave me is outdated, so The prices are all wrong. Looked at me dead in the face and asked me if I needed anything else. I was planning on ordering more, but I’m glad I encountered this roadblock.
Call me crazy but I believe good business ethics begins with trust and if I cannot trust the price on your menu then I might have to go somewhere else to eat.
We finished up our one croqueta, piece of bread and headed out. It is very unfortunate that the only Cuban place in the area gave me this experience. I wanted to be able to bring my family from Miami, that is Cuban, to this place.
If I am wrong, let me know. I love Cuban food, my Cuban people, and heritage. If you come here, make sure the price on the menu are correct before ordering. I have the proof if needed. Have a nice day!

Very small and crowded with limited seating. Unfortunately no coffee during our visit due to a grinder issue (they were working on it), which was a bummer. The pastry was delicious and my husband loved his beef sandwich. We were out of town but would try it again if we’re back in the area.

Great bakery and very friendly people there. We got the following items.

Meat pastry. It had a crispy and flaky exterior with savory meat inside. Very delicious. Came out nice and warm. Highly recommended.

Cafe con Leche is one of their speciality drinks. Woke up me up for sure.

Guava pastry and the pineapple pastry were both very delicious.

Highly recommended place for some delicious baked goods.

The food was amazing. We had the Cuban sandwich and it was one of the best ones we had ever had the pleasure of eating!!!! The coffee- out of this world!!!! The pastries so so flaky and buttery full of flavor and they aren’t stingy with the filling of guava!!!! And the prices are decent. I wish I lived here I would be in here everyday!
