So my fiancée drove from Allentown Pa after he got off work to get some brunch & SoulFood for us. We were told great things about this place. Sadly that was not what we got today. When walking in establishment he was not welcomed with how can I help you it was more of what do you want ! Breakfast or lunch? No customer should ever feel as if they are a bother when trying to order food. Customer service wasn’t on point nor was the food. He had shrimp and grits weeks ago from doordash and food was awesome but today definitely has made us choose not to come back again. Someone taking a drive for over 2 hours to eat and patronize you, should be much more welcoming. I know we all have our days but you all turned an excitement to eat into a disappointment. I wish you all the best but I’m hoping that the customer service changes because that is what keeps your customers coming.

I ordered from this restaurant a few times before I realized that I was being over charged on door dash. When ordering platters you get two sides which are included in the price. Unfortunately when ordering off of door dash when you select your sides it charges you extra for the sides. I brought it up to the owner who acknowledged the problem and did nothing. Those $3 and $4 add up overtime per customer. So I refuse to support a business who knowingly steals from their patrons.

The food is amazing. Love the portion sizes. My only complaint is that they need an adult taking orders. Every time I go it’s a teenager boy or girl and they always get my order wrong and forget to put my order in when I first give it, no matter how many times I tell them. So I end up waiting an hour. People who order the same thing after me end up getting their food before me. Otherwise, it’s a great a business

My wife said this crab cake is everything, my turkey wings look great. Good portion I don’t feel cheated like most places I got my money’s worth and the taste omg. And they support their own!!! My first time was my last time! Only thing got a pass for me was the service, and the cabbage! We spent about $90, and the chicken was salty, the greens was very salty, the yams tasted like nutmeg only, the green beans , salty and very soft, the Mac/ cheese was the nastiest! Everything went in the trash! Never ever going to poison myself on purpose, I really started to call the police, once I tasted the crab cake!

This my second maybe fourth time back cause My first try at this soul food place… Was not good … But baaaabbbbyyyyy…. It must of been a bad night… Cause their Mac and cheese is so damn good…. String beans… Amazing!!!!! I got the chicken chops they were a little dry… They should be marinated the night before and cooked prolly 10 mins less… I gotta go bk and try the chicken wings and turkey wings next… That Mac and cheese…ooooohhhhh Lord…. Food is delicious. Like really actually good soul food. Banana pudding actually thick with nillas in it, real nice flavor. Not that runny fake stuff they sale at some places. My new “go to” spot for soul food for sure.

I don’t know what’s going on in there but, I stopped by on Sunday and there were NO customers and the ” owner” was picking collard greens! No aromas whatsoever! I’ve been cooking for a long time and this IS NOT a good look! I will NOT stop there again. The atmosphere was very dark.
