Good meal, a little skimpy for dinner and the amount of things on the menu that were sold out makes me a little suspicious about this restaurant. I got the main dish I wanted, but I wanted other things that were sold out and it made no sense. I haven’t seen that anywhere else. Probably 50% of the menu was sold out including my mango with sticky rice dessert. That should be a staple!
Anyway I got the Crystal Thai Seafood and it was really good and flavorful and not spicy as requested. Lots of shrimp, calamari, mussels and a few scallops. It was good but again pretty small for the price.
I might try again in the future but only if the majority of the items aren’t sold out. That, frankly is the reason for the lower rating.

Waste of money. Terrible food.
Tom yum soup had no taste at all.. Worst one I’ve had. Tasted like just watery liquid stuff with a couple mushrooms floating on top…
Green curry was unseasoned, cold (imagine that), no flavor, and had no eggplants, even though the menu indicated it did. When I asked about eggplants, we were told that they have stopped putting eggplants for ages. It tasted watery and terrible also. Pad thai was okay, but entire plate had like 4 tiny shrimps. Pork appetizer skewers were rough and tasted almost stale.
The place was not crowded. We waited over 45 minutes for subpar food, with extremely small portions.

Had a great Xmas eve dinner with my wife at Crystal Thai Restaurant in Owings Mills. We both had soup. I had Thai wonton soup and my wife had a transparent noodle soup. Both were excellent.
She had a dumpling appetizer as her main course. I had crispy eggplant in a chicken and herb sauce. Both were delicious.
For dessert, she had mango and sticky rice. I had a mango ice cream cake. Outstanding.
There’s plenty of free parking in the lot out front. The restaurant is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
If your kids like authentic Thai food, bring them along. I recommend the Crystal Thai Restaurant in Owings Mills.

Don’t order delivery from here!!! Many times I have placed an order on DoorDash and they confirmed the order and later say dasher is heading to pick up your order. This is where the nonsense happens! Within minutes of when your order should have been picked up or delivered, they send a message saying the order was cancelled because the restaurant ran out of an item. I only order tofu and vegetables! I don’t think they have a mad rush of people here in Pikesville ordering tofu! This is not the first time. They should not confirm the order in the first place and have a dasher waste their time to head over and then cancel. The food is very substandard at best but one of the few Thai restaurants around here. The prices are not great either so don’t waste your time or money! Horrible service and not great food for the price!

The restaurant did a phenomenal job with my large carry out order on Christmas Eve. May I add, that they also packedged it well without any spillage. My only complaint is the lack of vegetables included in the entrees that contained vegetables as ingredients located on the menu. For example, our pananag curry tofu and Crystal Thai Seafood dishes were flavorful, but did not include enough vegetables. The tofu dish was heavy on the tofu with a few slices of vegetables. For the price point of our dishes, the expectation is to have a balanced number of ingredients based on the description of each entrée. I would order from Crystal Thai again. I would just hope that they would improve on the amount of expected ingredients in each dish.

We’re so lucky to have such fantastic Thai food so close to us. Love their Basil beef the most. But also love their drunken noodles and pad Thai. Can not come away without the mango and sticky rice.

Summer Rolls were fresh the peanut sauce was tasty,
My Roomette got the Pad Thai with pork said it very flavorful,
I ordered the Panang Curry with beef it was mouthwatering good.
I got it medium for spice level wasn’t too hot I’ll order it hotter next time I think the place is worth a try

Good place shrimp summer roll are my favorite and chicken dumpling. Red curry depends on your spice level you can enjoy. Peanut sauce is also my favorite. Same taste and same quality. Recommended if you wand thai food around owingmills.

What a cute little Thai restaurant, it’s a shame they’re no longer serving inside because it’s decorated so pretty inside! They are open and serving TAKE-OUT dinner only; because they open at 4:30. And the other businesses around it close early which doesn’t make much sense I bet they would do a good lunch.
