As a Mexican from Guadalajara, I can say the torta ahogada is nothing like the authentic one. The beans, bread and salsa were not what I expected. Flavor was ok, they serve too little salsa for what a torta ahogada needs (and should have) so I had to order more of that salsa which is $2 extra. I didn’t like it, I did not finish it so I had to order a steak taco which was good but too small for the price ($5). The virgin micheladas was delicious.

Amazing and simple Mexican food. The wet sandwich (ahogada) and tostada with cheese and corn (requesón). The menu is short, but the execution is great. The food is filling, I recommend sharing. The tongue tacos were less appealing to me because the meat was thick and a bit hard.
This location is much smaller and less decorated than the other one nearby. The food is just as good, but it seemed really busy when I visited.

Please don’t waste your time coming here. I ordered a $15 dollar passion fruit margarita and it came in a basic cup, and it literally tasted like juice and chemicals. Not an ounce of liquor. I ordered queso and chips and the tortillas were stale. Waiter did not bother to greet or seat me, he was more worried about cleaning tables and seemed miserable. Horrible waste of money

Came to eat at this place for the first time because I saw it on TikTok. I went with my mom and husband we order an Asada Fries as appetizer and to eat we ordered an Ahogada Sandwich, Birria Consomé, Tacos which the tacos were not all that. Also ordered a Carne Asada bowl (do not recommend) The service is horrible doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I will definitely will not be returning. It’s overpriced and can definitely find better flavored food. Don’t bother going to eat here.

I honestly have nothing nice to say about this place other than the atmosphere. It looked promising on the outside looking in because of the crowd but the food sucks. They served my girlfriend and I dirty glass cups w/ ice and then after ordering my food, I found myself chewing for a while until I noticed a unusual substance in my food. Highly disappointed.

was attempting a fun adventure with my mom, we were trying to ride every subway line in NYC in one day. we got off at Atlantic Av when the B got delayed to grab a bite to eat- we saw this place and checked it out. we got seated immediately and the prices were fairly low! the food came out in about 5 minutes and was AMAZING. hot but not “burn your mouth”-hot and it was super flavorful. the best burrito i’ve ever had. i ordered a Birria Burrito and my mom ordered one Chicken Taco and one Birria Taco. 6 stars, would recommend.
