** Edited my previous review to include a picture of the Aki Special Poke Bowl that had a beautiful presentation, lots of fresh fish and veggies with a great dressing. Very filing, so had leftovers for dinner. Tried this on a 2nd visit to Aki.
Great menu with so many choices very different than what you get from other Japanese restaurants in the area. I ordered much too much, but was very happy with my selection. The menu includes pictures of their sushi appetizers, special rolls and many of their offerings which I found really helpful. Started with Miso soup, full of flavor, seaweed and tofu.The Naruto and Christmas rolls were great, full of flavor and the presentation was beautiful. I also ordered Shrimp and Veggie Tempura – tasty, fresh but I thought had too much batter for my taste. Pricing is similar to other places, but the selection is incredible and the portions are not skimpy. They also offer lunch specials, noodles, soup, etc. but the special rolls are a must. This will be my go to place for sushi in the Danbury area. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped here for lunch as it is across the way from the dealership we dropped off my bf’s truck at. We got the duck scallion pancake rolls and he got the udon noodles with chicken and I got their paradise roll. It is very aesthetic in there and when we went it was pretty empty aside from a few other diners and you could tell there were regulars. I will definitely need to come back to try some more of their rolls.

Everything was beautifully prepared and so fresh! The colors, flavors, and presentation were amazing, .My favorite dish definitely is poke bowl ,I tried it in many Japanese restaurants,but here is the best that each bite was fresh and perfectly balanced— highly recommend this place!

This spot really delivers…trying various apps and entrees i can safely say they do a great job in executing the flavors you are looking for.
The sushi is super fresh and that wasabi got harder kicks then Aoki.
The interior is peak w/ koi fish light fixtures and crisp seating.
Everything whispers quality in my ear as I’m chop wrapped rollies down my gullet. So Geechi.
Will definitely be back

All I can say is wow. my wife and I went here on a date night when we got a sitter for our 5 month old. so this was our first night out in a while. we were not disappointed. our new favorite sushi spot near the danbury area. we started ordering take out regularly definitely going to be coming back for those lychee martinis!

I had a really nice time at this sushi spot. The food was super fresh—everything tasted great, especially the hibachi and sushi. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The place had a chill vibe, and the staff were friendly but not too in-your-face, which I appreciated. It was a relaxing, easy-going meal and I enjoyed just hanging out there. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving good sushi.

New to the area and so yummy. The fish and all are very fresh. The menu is a good size with lots of raw and cooked items. Prices are on par for sushi. We be coming back, might have found a new constant sushi restaurant. The place is clean and everyone is so friendly.
