Huge fan of Crust!

Two of us ordered:
Signature Item PA × 2 $27.98 ($13.99 ea.)
Add AVO PA $1.75
Premium Drink $3.49
CHIPS $2.69
Regular Drink $2.49

Staff was friendly. Seating inside and outside.

Mat portions were definitely lacking (from my memory from previous Crust locations)…so definitely a bit more bread-y than what I had hoped for.

Parking easy to find in the plaza, but need to walk a few steps to get to the actual store front.

The sandwiches were very good. The bread is excellent. I would skip the drinks and chips. The sandwich itself is expensive. This location was hard to find and odd location. It’s next to a business building. Love the unlimited pickles.

Fresh and Flavorful at CRUST Sourdough Deli – Palo Alto Square

Stopped by CRUST Sourdough Deli and ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was absolutely delightful! The ingredients were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced—crisp greens, juicy tomatoes, creamy avocado, tender grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and a generous sprinkle of blue cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture, making it one of the best Cobb salads I’ve had in a while.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out—simple, fresh, and satisfying. The cozy, casual vibe of the deli also adds to its charm, making it a great spot for a quick, delicious lunch.

If you’re in the area and craving something fresh and flavorful, I highly recommend giving their Cobb Salad a try. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

This place is pretty delicious, if you can find it haha.

This particular location of CRUST is kind of tucked away in the bottom floor of a group of nondescript office buildings. It’s definitely not something you notice right away from the street. Me and some coworkers nearly drove right by.

All that aside, the sandwiches here were very much worth the drive and effort to find. I will say though… the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the star of the show. It was so soft and delicious. Make sure to pick one up if you stop by. You’ll be glad you did.

I was searching on google maps for a meatball sub and found this place. It’s fairly new I suppose. Parking over here is always super easy, and there were plenty of signs to catch your attention around the plaza. I came from the El Camino side of the plaza and it wasn’t obvious where the entrance was despite the signs and flags.

The interior is gorgeous. The staff were very nice and helpful. They even offered me a free cookie for my first visit. I order a meatball sandwich and it was out super quick.

The sandwich is delicious. The sauce, cheese, and meatballs are all delicious, but the real star is the bread. All great sandwiches have to have great bread and this bread is phenomenal. I love me some sourdough. I powered the sandwich and was super satisfied. I’m going to come here a few more times to get a better feel on the menu but my first impression is outstanding.

Quick service and competent staff. We had the roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The sourdough rolls were absolute perfection and both sandwiches were delicious. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it. We actually ate one half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner.

I am so happy to be the first to review here. As an employee of a nearby business I have been eagerly waiting for Crust to open. It has absolutely been worth the wait. The dip sandwich is amazing and it came out in less than a minute.

The staff is incredibly friendly and all seem very happy to be here and to be open.

I am telling our entire office about this wonderful place and hope it stays for a long time!

If i lived local this would be my go to shop. I work in the Palo Alto area as a construction worker. From the absolutely delicious sandwich to the amazing customer service I’ll be frequently coming here when in the area. I don’t know if it’s the owner or manager I didn’t catch his name welcomed me in well before they even opened so I could make it back to my job site with a good lunch. When he saw me walking away as I noticed they didn’t open tell 10 and I break at 9 he yelled through the door as he unlocked it i didn’t say we wouldn’t make you a sandwich. He made it as his staff hadn’t started yet. One of the best spicy Italian sandwiches I’ve had and the cookie was amazing.

I had the most amazing service and sandwich here today. Bread was perfect. Roast beef couldn’t be better and the added bacon jam was so good. I’ll recommend 🙂

Everything about this place is wonderful! Staff is ALWAYS smiling and friendly. Jairo helped me today and he was a star!
The seating area is open and well-lit. And the sandwiches are amazing! The sourdough is often warm (it’s that fresh!). They are generous with the meat and listen to your requests. They also sell incredible salads.
Prices might seem high, but let’s be honest – everything has gone up A LOT. It is in line with any quality deli and not much more than Togo’s – and way better.
It may be a bit out of the way, in the center of Palo Alto Square, but it is well-worth the trip.
