Chef Moe – you’ve done well, Sir!
The Baja salad was average size.
Cashier didn’t greet us. She was nice but service was on the low end.
I am Mexican, grew up on authentic Mexican food. Like ranch Mexican food lol. So I know a thing or 2 about Mexican food. These corn tortillas taste SO authentic.. not even the Mexican places have corn tortillas this good. I haven’t tried the flower tortillas but MAN THESE CORN ONES. The Tempura breaded fish and the shrimp was absolutely amazing. It even tasted authentic. I went yesterday and ordered again today !!!!! Idk what all yalls negative reviews are about but this place is the best I’ve had in a very long time and no it’s NOT an authentic Mexican food place but it’s okay !!!! It’s still really good American tacos down to the veggies they put in there too !!!
The service was nice, if you dine-in they bring your tacos to your place.
These tacos were so flavorful and full with whatever they come with. The marga are good too. The staff is very friendly and even helped with suggestions because it was my first time, but definitely won’t be the last.
I bought 6 tacos, 5 fish and 1 steak.
The amount of food in each taco was disappointing. Each fish taco had one small fishstick, was mostly filled up by “fries?” and dry lettuce, and had ZERO sauce. What the heck? The beef taco had no size in it, and the meat was DRY.
Even if the food was subpar, it still would’ve been 3 stars. But 1 star for food comes from the PRICE. 40 dollars. For 6 of the emptiest/medium sized tacos Ive ever bitten into. Each fish taco was 6.29. From places in the expensive state of CALIFORNIA for 8 ish dollars I can buy 2-3 fish tacos filled to the brim.
To their credit, this place was clean, and the man at the front was friendly. But that aint saving the food.
***** Update 10 months later: Thanks for my generous bday coupon, which prompted me to come back! Customer service is still phenomenal! This time, I ordered the Chicken & Waffle Taco, the Rice Bowl, and a side of tortilla chips!
The C+W Taco got a 3 out of 5. The Rice Bowl and side of warm tortilla chips got a 5 out of 5!!!!! So good and fresh! I do wish the guac was a little more seasoned, and next time, I’ll get no pickled onions. Other than that, I’d def get the rice bowl again!!
The cornflake shrimp was a little too sweet.
The spicy rooster was not that great.
The chicken elote was my personal favorite.
The chorizo fries were essentially just chili cheese fries.
I purchased 3 tacos + a fountain drink + 20% tip. Totaled $30.
A little too pricy for the products that are offered.
The cashier was very helpful.
