This little place was great! We stumbled across it on our morning walk after a questionable hotel stay elsewhere— totally changed our trip!
Would you look at that bowl? And the portions were great as well. Flavors were outstanding— even the home fries, which I usually find to be bland at most restaurants, were packed with flavor!

I remember when the original owners ran this place; it was the quintessential Americano diner, often with a line snaking out the door, full of eager customers. Since they left, something vital seems to have vanished. The interior now feels stark and uninviting, stripped of its former charm, and I’m not quite sure who the current owners are—perhaps Polish or French? Regardless, the menu has undergone a striking transformation, leaning towards a unique and somewhat eccentric culinary direction. Overall, I am ambivalent about the food; it doesn’t quite capture the nostalgia I once felt. However, I must admit that the prices are quite reasonable, which is a small consolation. except for the almost 4 dollar cup of coffee.

SO GOOD, wish I would have stopped here sooner & been able to go more than once while I was on vacation!
I got the the fresh squeezed orange juice which was FRESH & really hit the spot… and for food I got french toast with cream cheese & strawberries (one of my go to favorites for breakfast) with a side of extra crispy hashbrowns and I loved every bite. Very tasty & the servers were great!!
There was a little confusion with who our server was (not on our part, but on the hosts part) but it all worked out okay!
Ended up taking home left overs & it was still delicious even later.

Best breakfast in our entire vacation!!!! 100/10. Worth the price. Food is EXCELLENT. Worth the price. We got “The Crusader”, pancakes, fresh orange juice. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. ❤️❤️❤️

Expected more based on reviews. Nice to sit outside however, only a few tables available outside. Good service. Food was not good. Omelette had processed cheese only on half. Coffee was very good. Toast came out loaded with butter. Bacon was good. Home fries were dehydrated potatoes with the consistency of rice, absolutely horrible. We asked for fried onions on our home fries, they put barely cooked red onions on it which I thought was odd. My husband’s biggest complaint was no scrapple on the menu.

I’ve been coming here for at least 6 years. On my most recent stay this summer, the food was delicious, coffee is the best on this side of town, and prices are fair. The French toast is incredible and the head chef is super consistent with taste and quality of food. Would recommend!
