Crudo is a stunning, upscale hidden gem tucked away in Smithfield. The moment you walk in, the trendy ambiance and beautifully curated décor set the tone for an exceptional meal. The food is truly remarkable—starting with the Prince Edward Island oysters, complemented by a mignonette that’s absolutely to die for. I opted for a lighter lunch and was blown away by the grilled octopus, perfectly tender and rich with flavor, paired with a vibrant beet salad topped with arugula and ricotta. From start to finish, it was an impeccable dining experience, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.

Had a delicious meal! Best pork chop I’ve ever had! My guests also loved the Chicken Parmesan dinner and the calamari appetizer and shrimp cocktail were very good. Highly recommend the blackberry mule too. Very good server! While they took us a half hour after our reservation time, they generously picked up our first round of drinks. Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic experience. Friends suggested Crudo so we met them there and had a wonderful time. The decor was gave a relaxing vibe. The wait staff & bartender treated us like old friends! Everyone loved their food choices, I had an amazing grilled salmon. Can’t wait to return real soon!

Amazing experience with the staff at Crudo. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken care of. Everything we ordered was excellent. Raw bar, cocktails, salad, dinner and dessert was all on point. Spencer was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and the cocktails. By far one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. The raw bar was fresh and delicious. We frequent many oyster bars from South County to EG and Newport and theirs is a good or better than them all. Highly recommend avoiding the beach traffic and going to Crudo.

Crudo absolutely deserves every bit of five stars! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was second to none. What really blew me away, though, was the care and attention shown to my father. He has a serious food allergy, and the waiter personally let the chef know what my father was interested in eating and if there was anything he could do to alter the dish to make it safe. He then crafted a special meal just for him. It wasn’t just safe, it was absolutely delicious, and my dad said it was one of the best dining experiences he’s had in years.
Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The menu is creative, the cocktails are spot on, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can truly feel the pride and passion behind every detail.

On my way home from Scarborough Beach in RI, I made a pit stop at Crudo in Smithfield. This spot has been on my radar for a while, and I’m glad I finally got to try it. They serve weekend brunch until 3 pm, which is perfect for a late-morning meal. I started with oysters and a dill bloody mary made with their in-house dill vodka – one of the best I’ve ever had! For my main course, I opted for the chimichurri steak and eggs, paired with a side of cornbread. Tom provided excellent service from behind the bar. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more dishes!

A true hidden gem. Crudo serves up exquisite dishes using the freshest ingredients in Providence – the star of the show was the hand made pasta with both fresh mushrooms and mushroom cream sauce. The namesake dish Crudo is delightful, and we doubled up with a second dozen of oysters. Overall a wonderful experience.

The food, the ambiance, and the design of the space are really nice. You wouldn’t think it though because the outside is very unassuming. Also we made a reservation as if we had not, it would have been tough to get a table.

Tried Crudo for the first time last night- loved it! The food was great, nice atmosphere & server was very attentive. My daughter had the tuna special and said it was the best she has had. My son LOVED the burger and truffle fries. We also tried the calamari- YUM. We will definitely be back.
