A really yummy spot for brunch! We had the chilaquiles and sweet and salty French toast, and both were amazing. The French toast was definitely more sweet than salty, but it had great orange flavor and wasn’t overly sweet so we really liked it. The service was quick and friendly. It was busy but not packed, so we were able to get in without a wait for Sunday brunch.

One of the best places in town. Value for money is off the charts. Absolutely delicious food and best cocktails! Have said „this is one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time“ more than once. Crew is super attentive and they create a very welcoming, inclusive, and homy atmosphere! Custom-made-up drinks made by the best bartender in town Casey were incredibly delicious. 100% recommend! I’ve been here many times by now, and am constantly astonished with what this place has to offer! You guys rock!

I stopped by CRU today on a whim (it’s been on my “to-try” list for a while), and I’m so glad I finally did! I started with two cocktails—the Golden Fang and the Matchatini. The Golden Fang was strong but perfectly balanced, while the Matchatini was lighter and paired nicely with my entrée.
Our table shared the Calamari and Loaded Hash Brown Tots, both served in generous portions and seasoned beautifully without being greasy. For my main dish, I had the Green Cod Curry, which was absolutely delicious. The vermicelli noodles with the cod and curry reminded me of a creative twist on the Thai noodle soups I grew up with—comforting yet unique. I also sampled my friend’s Chicken Pibil with blue corn tostadas, and it was equally flavorful.
We finished with the Flourless Brownies, which were rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, with plenty of group seating, bar space, and a fantastic open-kitchen concept.
A special shoutout to our server Michael B, who was wonderful, and Chef Skyler for such a memorable meal. I can’t wait to come back—next time, I’m trying their brunch.

I went there for Brunch for the first time. I had a really great experience. The food was delicious and portion size was perfect. Prices are also affordable and the quality of the ingredients was really good. I really appreciated the service I received and that she helped me make informed decisions about what I was ordering. 10/10 experience and will definitely return.

One of the best places in Providence! The food, the drinks, the service – everything is amazing. We had the lamb shank and pork schnitzel and it was really good. Portion sizes are good and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Must try the golden fang drink also. Can’t wait to try their brunch menu!

I visited CRU PVD for Saturday brunch at 9 AM with a friend, and my first impression was great! The interior design immediately stood out—modern, stylish, and reminiscent of Northern Europe, where I lived for two months about a decade ago. The ambiance felt fresh and inviting, making it a great spot to start the weekend.
The service was excellent. The staff had a welcoming and positive vibe, and my server, in particular, was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. It made the experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, I ordered the Dutch baby and a burrito. Both were good, but not particularly memorable. They were well-prepared, but I wouldn’t say they stood out enough to make me crave them again. That said, I’m open to trying a different dish on my next visit.
One downside was the music. The volume was unnecessarily loud, and the choice of old punky pop music felt out of place for a relaxed brunch setting. It disrupted the otherwise comfortable atmosphere, making it harder to enjoy a slow, peaceful morning meal.
Overall, CRU PVD has a lot of potential. The interior and service are fantastic, and the food is solid, though I’d love to explore more of the menu. I just hope they reconsider the music choice or volume to better match the light and cozy brunch experience many people look for. I’ll be back, but maybe with earplugs!

First time going here and it was a wonderful experience!! Our server, Mike, was absolutely the best! He was very attentive with our table and has that type of personality you won’t forget! We got the Calamari & garlic cheese bread for our appetizers, and for our entree we had Khao Piek! Both were so delicious. The chef made sure that the food was to our liking, because I can’t eat cilantro! Skyler was the chef. I also had a few drinks, the Dew drop and it was tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone..

We visited CRU PVD for dinner last week and it was nothing short of amazing. Everything from our appetizer – you HAVE to order the Cannellini Bean Hummus – main courses, dessert, the atmosphere…all top notch! Our favorite however had to be our waiter for the evening, Michael. He made us feel right at home with his humor, his kindness and outstanding recommendations. We’ll be back to visit again! – knee-mow-tah
