I tried there chicken tenders, they were thin and the best tenders I’ve had. Service was great. I did not go in so I did not rate the atmosphere.
However my 2nd trip there, I ordered 16 tenders- which would be (2) 8 piece box tenders, no sides and did not ask for sauce, paid 39.20 for 16 individual tenders and a large sauce. Most places will tell give you the best price for your order. However they did not so I have to change my ratings from all 5 to 1

Visited the drive-through for a mixed fried chicken dinner. I found the chicken, a bit on the small side, but really tasted good. The so-called sides were so small that you almost can’t see them. See photos. The mashed potatoes and gravy were terrible along with the slaw.
The person at the window acted like she really didn’t want to be there and so tried not to speak. She gave me my two boxes to hold on the way home with no bag.
Price $ okay once, but I’m not sure I want to try this again for a while. You need to make sure the customer is appreciated when taking their money. Good Luck!
UPDATE:
4/1/25 I thought I would visit once more and see if customer service has improved. I ordered a 10 piece with large BBQ beans and large potato salad. One of the workers boxed up my chicken and then told me they were out of large potato salad, but they would give me four small ones in place. For goodness sake, it’s 2:30 in the afternoon. I got home, and my wife and I empty the bag to find we did not get our potato salad but instead only got four tiny cups of coleslaw. We don’t like their coleslaw. With the exception of the dried out breast, the rest of the chicken is smaller than an Ozark Crow. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST of any in Ozark AL. I was hoping for a better impression than the first visit.

Horrible food at Ozark location! So disappointed. Have eaten at the Troy location many years ago and it was great but Ozark has got to do something or they will not last. No seasoning on the chicken, potatoes, okra or fries. Thank goodness there was a roll. However, the staff was friendly which was appreciated. Our visit was 11/16/25.

The lady in the front is RUDE as hell bad attitude to everyone I mean if you hate your job that much then quite and everything is a 20 to 30min wait. The cook and Drive thru Girl were very Nice & Professional. I use to stop in once or twice a week but unfortunately this will be my last Order HERE.

Crowe’s Chicken remains our favorite fried chicken take out restaurant. The chicken has always been crispy, hot, and delicious. Our most recent visit on Tuesday 16 September 2025.was to purchase a large chicken ‘basket’ with assorted side orders. As always, the food was outstanding. One suggestion to the restaurant management and staff: Check the individual pieces of chicken for feathers BEFORE the chicken is breaded and fried. While the flavor of the chicken was not diminished the aesthetics in appearance were a bit disappointing. At least 4 of the wings had several very noticiable feathers on the tips. NOT a complaint about the meal. Simply a reminder to excel at everything you do.

I was so pleased with the service and food at Crowes Chicken in Ozark this past weekend. I placed a large order of chicken for pickup on Sunday morning for a Church luncheon. The chicken was absolutely delicious and it was reasonably priced. A big THANK YOU to Angela and the team for providing the best service possible.

The chicken thighs were good. However i got one thigh that looked like it came from a cornish game hen ( very tiny). And the corn on the cob tasted like it was three days old. Too bad, to spoil good chicken meal with bad sides is silly. I had to ask for a bag and the young man at the drive up window sounded like he would rather be anywhere else besides there. What a shame.
Owner/manager beware. That will kill a restaurant. It has killed two other chicken restaurants in this town already. For some reason restaurants think people in Ozark will eat anything. We’ll, they won’t. It’s too easy to drive somewhere else.

TODAY WAS MY LAST STRAW WITH THIS PLACE! Every time I go here the staff is always talking & playing around. Ask for fresh fries and they pull you around and make you wait out front just to give you the SAME fries you gave them back, re drop them and then give them back to you. The chicken was dry, hairy, and not seasoned at all. There’s no way they didn’t see all this hair on this chicken!
After today I’ll never eat chicken from no restaurant because they don’t clean it. They just batter and fry!!
Send OSHA FAST!!
