The atmosphere was cozy without feeling crowded. The service was prompt, courteous & consistent throughout the meal. The chicken nachos we had shared was delicious & was a shareable size. The tavern burger I ate was cooked how I had requested. The restrooms were clean & inviting. Overall, I would recommend & choose to go again the next time I’m in NYC!

Fantastic place. Stopped in and had a wonderful evening with my friend. Food is amazing, staff is friendly and attentive and the food is flavorful and enormous.
And the bar is packed with all kinds of Scotch.
I highly recommend.

Superb, everything simply wonderful .
I needed to be in and out for lunch and that’s exactly what I got. Not to mention the Croton burger is outstanding along with a Guinness pint, can go wrong.
Service is top notch as well.

Went with family with younger kids (place was little “adult” atmosphere) but seated us right away so very friendly staff. All the food we ordered were good. I’m not sure what drink this was but very tasty, one of the best mix drink I have ever had!!! Give it a shot!

We have an enjoyable time whenever we come to this restaurant. They are in a great location near bryant park. The food is always high quality no matter what you order.

I recently visited Croton Reservoir Tavern in Manhattan with two friends and had a pleasant experience. I appreciated that the place was located on the first floor, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, despite TVs displaying sports programs (they were on mute) and quiet background music. The sparsely populated venue allowed us to converse easily without having to raise our voices.
The staff were nice, polite, and friendly, contributing to the overall positive experience. The food menu wasn’t extensive, but it was adequate for a bar. The drink menu, on the other hand, was impressively long, featuring pages of various beverages. I particularly liked how the drinks were categorized by country, such as Japan, and separated into types like beer, gin, vodka, etc. Drinks were available both by the glass and by the bottle, which provided flexibility depending on your preference. The sizes of the glasses were standard. The prices were a bit on the high side, but that’s expected in Manhattan. My only gripe was with the high chairs and tables, which were uncomfortable for a shorter person like me. It would be great if they could add a few lower tables and chairs for more inclusivity.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would recommend Croton as a great spot to gather with friends or colleagues for a drink or a catch-up.

The food is so bad here I do not recommend The servers here were very nice, but god that ravioli was disgusting and overpriced- I should have known when the description said it has peas in it. The sauce and the mushrooms tasted funky and the texture was grainy (?). Can’t say how the drinks are though

Looks like a typical cross town bar but has a great atmosphere and exceptionally well prepared food. Not a big menu but the selections provide for a nice lunch or an excellent dinner. Somebody in the kitchen is chef trained, a surprise in what you might think is just a small bar. Huge liquor selection and knowledgeable bartender.

Excellent spot for drinks. Great cocktails & lots of options to choose from. The ambiance was super chill & the staff was very friendly. They also have an outdoor area and it was such a good vibe, especially on a nice spring day(:
