Crossroads Cafe is a small but quaint breakfast spot with a welcoming, friendly vibe. The staff was super nice and made us feel comfortable right away, and the portions were definitely plentiful, so you won’t leave hungry.

We ordered the breakfast egg sandwich on sourdough and the country breakfast. The food had good flavor overall. The sausage gravy isn’t your typical Southern-style gravy you might expect, but it did have its own flavor profile. The biscuits were a bit dry, and while we also tried the banana bread—which was tasty—the decision to warm it on the griddle dried it out more than necessary. It likely would have been better served as-is.

That said, the menu has a lot of options. Just a heads-up that it is a bit pricey for breakfast, but the portions, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere still make it worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Great place for a breakfast before a hike in Joshua tree. We waited just a few minutes in the morning prior to seating and did not take long for our food to be served. The country breakfast in pic was excellent. Highly recommend if you are in town.

The service was good, the food was.. okay. The environment, cool.

I’m quite a breakfast snob since I used to work brunch shift as a server all summer.. so I know a good crispy potato, with an impeccable poached egg with hollandaise. I was just underwhelmed. The potatoes left much to be desired.. but the bacon was great.

I got the Egg Barrio I think?

Fun atmosphere for a dinner after a long day in the park. Delicious food that left everyone in our party happy and satisfied. Delicious cheese steak, amazing burgers, tasty wraps, and the chili was amazing. The service was super friendly, prompt, and attentive. We enjoyed our meal here and would totally come back again. My only disappointment was that I could smell cookies, but they didn’t have any available.

The Cali Cheesesteak is really good with full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The pancakes are excellent as well, definitely worth trying. Great spot for a tasty and satisfying meal!

I really liked the Crossroads Cafe. The service was excellent, the meal was pretty good, there was a lot of variety on the menu, and the atmosphere was quirky and fun: oil can lights on the wall, comically awful taxidermy, and 70’s funk/jazz playing throughout. For what’s basically a roadside bar, the food was a cut above and the wait staff was terrific. My only regret is not buying a t-shirt on the way out. I’d definitely stop there again.

Great little place. We had the vegan saitan “burger”. It was pretty big, the slaw and fries were homemade. I highly recommend the homemade lemonade as well.

We spent the day exploring Joshua Tree National Park and were hungry at dinner. We found this place had good reviews and looked family friendly. It worked out good. We got there before the big rush but still had to wait for a table. The food takes a bit of time after ordering. I believe it’s because they make everything from scratch. It was really tasty. I got a sandwich, the Tom-Tom a turkey and avocado sandwich with sprouts, lettuce and tomatoes. For the side I got a cup of the Cilantro soup. Super delicious since it was cold. But I tried some of my son’s fries and they were great too. I also tried a bite of his kids burger. It looked homemade and was flavorful & juicy. Definitely was pleased with the whole experience.
